Paul Kantner, one of the giants of the San Francisco music scene, died Thursday, Jan. 28, of multiple organ failure. Mr. Kantner, founding member of the Jefferson Airplane, was 74 and had suffered a heart attack earlier this week.

ABBA has been a favorite of millions of fans since the 1970s, but the band members have not been seen together in seven years. However, BBC News reports that the group members have come together to celebrate the grand opening of the restaurant called Mamma Mia! The Party.

An Austrian parent has complained after his daughter was given an altered version of a popular children's hymn in which the word 'God' was replaced with the word 'Allah'. The woman told local media she was shocked when her daughter came home with the text to learn from the school in the Upper Austrian town of Wels.
