  • No, Mr. Democrat Congressional talking head, we cannot 'trust' the contents of the Mueller Report

No, Mr. Democrat Congressional talking head, we cannot 'trust' the contents of the so-called Mueller Report. It's painfully obvious that Mueller did not conduct the 'investigation,' did not supervise it and didn't even participate in it. The whole thing is a sham produced by his partisan staff. Every member of his staff are, just coincidentally, also members of the Hillary For President support team. Mueller doesn't even know what's in the report yet his every answer (when he answered) was, basically, if it's in the report, it's incontrovertible truth and therefor we must accept it. Really? We cannot question a...
  • Judicial Watch Statement on Robert Mueller’s Congressional Testimony

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the congressional testimony of former Special Counsel Robert Mueller: The corruptly formed and constitutionally abusive Mueller investigation failed to find any evidence to support the big lie of Trump-Russia collusion. Nonetheless, Mr. Muller attempted today to smear President Trump with obstruction of justice innuendo despite concluding that no such charges could be credibly sustained. Frankly, Mueller never had a valid basis upon which to investigate President Trump for obstruction of justice.

There was just no way around avoiding the fact that Robert Mueller turned in a rather lackluster performance at the Congressional hearings on Wednesday. His appearances before Congress, upon which many Democrats pinned their hopes for harming or even impeaching President Trump, turned out to be something of a dud.  “Bob Mueller is struggling,” added Glenn Kirschner, a former federal prosecutor who worked under Mueller in the U.S. attorney’s office in Washington, D.C. “It strikes me as a health issue. We need only look at footage of his earlier congressional appearances to see the dramatic difference in his demeanor and...

Is it age that has caught up with 80-year-old John Dean, or is it his hatred of all things Republican that has clouded Dean's short-term memory? On CNN this morning, in the pre-game of Robert Mueller's testimony today, Mr. Cancer-on-the-Presidency told John Berman: "The report indicates there was collusion, contrary to Mr. Trump's statement." Get the rest of the story and view the video here.
  • Comey: "It's Too Bad" That A 450-Page Report "Didn't Get The Job Done"

Former FBI Director James Comey said the reason the probe into then-presidential candidate Donald Trump was started is "plain and transparent" in an interview Tuesday with MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace. Comey said the FBI did not investigate Trump under his command then he should have been fired. "It's too bad that having published a 450 page report that didn't get the job done, but it didn't. Folks don't know what he found. And you can ask him in a simple straightforward way and get those details in front of the American people," he said.

Who knew that the humble footnote would loom so large in some of the most consequential documents of our time? Those bottom-of-the-page annotations are supposed to impose rigor on authors by forcing them to cite justifications for what they assert. But in the age of collusion claims, footnotes have become so much more — places for officials to tuck away inconvenient information; discreet spaces in which to make dubious assertions; or fine print in which required disclosures can be hidden in plain sight. It was in the footnotes, for example, where the FBI appears to have misled the FISA court...

It was in the footnotes, for example, where the FBI appears to have misled the FISA court in its application to spy on Carter Page – obscuring its reliance on opposition research, the Steele dossier, financed by the Hillary Clinton campaign. The more than 2,000 footnotes included in Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s report on Trump-Russia collusion allegations are also illuminating. Most of the citations are matter-of-fact support for claims made in the main text. But a close reading reveals that many of the footnotes raise more questions than they answer, especially regarding Mueller’s methods and intent. Some footnotes show that...
  • Giuliani: Anything new during Mueller's testimony would be 'highly questionable'

Video at link. President Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani said he doesn’t expect former special counsel Robert Mueller to stray from his Russia report during Wednesday's congressional testimony, adding that anything new would be "highly questionable." “I can’t imagine he’s going to say anything that we don’t know,” Giuliani said during an interview that aired Monday. “If he does, it would be highly questionable — how come you’re saying it now and you didn’t say it in the report.” “And number two: It would be totally unethical,” Giuliani added. “If a prosecutor doesn’t bring a case, then the prosecutor’s got...
  • A question for Robert Mueller

The question remains why Mueller should testify at all. There is no chance that he will add anything of substance to the matters already amply explored in the 448-page report on his two-year investigation. There will be no new evidence, no smoking gun, nothing to clarify what has already been made quite clear: there was no collusion, no obstruction. Judicial Watch, through its investigations and litigation, has turned up important exculpatory government records and documents exonerating Trump from the Russia hoax that the Mueller team chose to omit from their report. Judicial Watch has also demonstrated that the investigators were...

(CNSNews.com) - At the height of summer vacation time, House Democrats are holding two back-to-back hearings on Wednesday starring former Special Counsel Robert Mueller. Their goal is to bring renewed public attention to Mueller's report, almost two years in the making. The hearings "should be interesting," Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.), the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, told "Fox News Sunday." He said he hopes they "won't end up being a dud." "We want the American people to hear directly from Special Counsel Mueller what his investigation found," Nadler said: The president and the attorney general and others have spent...

Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s testimony before Congress could be delayed until July 24, a week later than originally scheduled, to accommodate questioning from more members, multiple media outlets reported Friday. Mueller and House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler have been negotiating the framework of the hearing for weeks and announced yesterday that the special counsel’s testimony, initially scheduled for next Wednesday, July 17, would last no more than two hours. The hearing set for July 24 has been lengthened to three hours.

The smartest man in the world once explained a metaphor apropos to this moment in time when Robert Mueller will testify before congress.  It goes like this:In front of you sits an ear of corn. You are trying to prove it’s an ear of corn to a room of corn cob deniers. Instead of trying to prove the true nature of what it is, focus your laser inquiry on one specific kernel and hit that single kernel with laser intensity. When that single kernel pops, you will have proved it’s an ear of corn.In a rare moment CTH agrees with...

(WASHINGTON) — The House Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to authorize subpoenas for 12 people mentioned in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report, including President Donald Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions. The panel also voted to authorize subpoenas for documents and testimony related to Trump’s handling of immigration, including on the separation of migrant families at the southern border. The resolution authorizes an investigation into whether there have been any discussions of Trump offering pardons to Homeland Security officials who work on immigration issues. Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler of New York will make the final decision about...

House Judiciary Committee Democrats announced Tuesday that they plan to authorize subpoenas later this week for a dozen individuals connected to President Trump as part of the panel’s escalating probe into obstruction of justice, public corruption and other alleged abuses by the president. The list of targets includes Trump son-in-law Jared Kushner as well as former Attorney General Jeff Sessions and his old deputy Rod Rosenstein. Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said Tuesday that the panel is moving forward with “efforts to request information from critical witnesses as part of our ongoing investigation into obstruction, corruption, and abuse of power...

Far from damaging Trump, Andrew Weissmann’s closed-door testimony—if handled properly—will help unravel the Russia-collusion witch hunt and inflict damage on Democrats. Soon after the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees announced that Robert Mueller had agreed to testify on July 17, 2019, news broke that following the public questioning of the former special counsel, committee members would quiz Mueller’s staff in private. “There’s time also allotted for executive session after Mueller testifies,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff told CNN, “that will be with his staff.”Some on the right have suggested that this closed-door session will inflict more harm on the...

Investigative journalist Carl Bernstein is calling on the media to do a better job covering special counsel Robert Mueller's report. Speaking on CNN’s “Reliable Sources” with Brian Stelter on Sunday, Bernstein said the media is focused on the fighting over the report instead of its actual contents. “I think we’ve made a big mistake in the press about how we’ve covered the Mueller report,” Bernstein said. “We’ve gotten totally wrapped up in the warfare in the Congress between Republicans and Democrats and is there obstruction of justice or is there not obstruction of justice.” Bernstein, best known for his reporting...
