Every time somebody watches a cable TV newscast, or reads a newspaper, it’s more votes for Donald Trump. Even the moonbat media can’t ignore the tsunami of violent crime being committed by welfare-collecting illegal aliens. And now we have reports that Donald Trump was threatened by an escaped billionaire Mexican drug dealer, one of those criminals that all Democrats from Obama on down now want to pretend don’t exist. Illegals are running amok, and the media are angry — at Donald Trump! Odd, though, isn’t it, how the Beautiful People still won’t acknowledge what open borders hath wrought? God forbid...

The New York Times' refusal to put Ted Cruz's memoir on its bestseller list is once again being called into question — this time by Amazon, the largest Internet retailer in the country. On Sunday, an Amazon spokesperson told the On Media blog that the company's sales data showed no evidence of unusual bulk purchase activity for the Texas senator's memoir, casting further doubt on the Times' claim that the book — "A Time For Truth" — had been omitted from its list because sales had been driven by "strategic bulk purchases." "As of yesterday, 'A Time for Truth' was...

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz will not see his book “A Time For Truth” on The New York Times bestseller list. Even though the book sold 11,854 copies in its first week, ranking higher than 18 of the 20 books on the latest list, the Times told Cruz’s publisher HarperCollins that his book “didn’t meet that standard” to get recognized. The Times, which previously blocked Dinesh D’Souza’s bestseller “America” from getting on the list, later told Politico that they found evidence that “sales [for Cruz’s book] were limited to strategic bulk purchases.” While the Times has yet to show anyone...

A Facebook meme posted by a liberal Democratic group puts a new twist on an old claim that the state of Wisconsin is "broke." The post by Occupy Democrats includes a photo of Republican Gov. Scott Walker and this statement: "Last year, Republican Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker signed a $541 million tax cut for millionaires and corporations. Today, Wisconsin’s budget is $283 million in the red, funding for education is being slashed, government programs are being gutted, and the state is about to miss a $108 million debt payment -- because it is dead broke." In the comments below the...

Trump takes this MSNBC democrat operative out back and teaches her what it is when you try to take on a strong leader. He doesn't back down an inch and gives her both barrels over and over. She never stood a chance. This is how I want a President to deal with the media, which is nothing more than a propaganda machine for the Democrat party.

Cruz did it again!!! He completely annihilated Katie Couric during her extended interview with the presidential hopeful. It was amateur hour for Ms. Couric who was so utterly outclassed that she looked like she wanted to hide under the table. Couric worked absolutely every angle to try and get Cruz off his game, but the good senator from Texas would not be rattled. In fact, Senator Cruz appeared to really enjoy his time educating Ms. Couric on the finer points of our Rule of Law. Cruz performed with dignity and grace as he politely and methodically shot down every single...

Remind me: before her View gig, did Nicolle Wallace work for Republicans or Democrats? I ask because on today's Morning Joe, she was the sole voice downplaying the significance of Hillary's minions having roped off the press during her July 4th parade walk. According to Wallace,"we pay a little bit too much attention to [press] access to Hillary Clinton . . . just as an image, I don't that it was a bad press day for Hillary because of the rope corral." Every once in a while there comes along a candidate who is head and shoulders above the rest. Such a person is Senator Ted Cruz. He is that rare candidate who stands his ground, does not intimidate, never loses his cool and is, above all, always a gentlemen. Everyone who is anyone in the liberal media has been having interviews with Cruz. Not because they are so enamored of the Senator, but more because they are on a mission-a mission to trip him up, catch him off-guard, back him into a wall. They haven't been successful yet. Cruz is fully...

News leaked Thursday that Bob Beckel was leaving “The Five,” Fox News channel’s wildly successful afternoon talk show. [Snip] “We tried to work with Bob for months, but we couldn’t hold The Five hostage to one man’s personal issues. He took tremendous advantage of our generosity, empathy and goodwill and we simply came to the end of the road with him. But in the same statement, Fox gave a preview of who will be on air in Beckel’s place, at least for the short term:

As our own Rick Moran reported yesterday, liberal media have used a new study by the New America Foundation to pretend that white Americans pose a bigger threat to national security than Muslim radicals. Rick explains that this conclusion can’t be drawn from the report at all: it’s only possible to say so when one ignores the failed terrorist attacks by Islamic extremists. If those are included, Islamists are far more dangerous than “white Americans.” However, that didn’t stop Mediaite from publishing an article blasting white Americans (as I wrote two days ago, white self-hate is now officially politically correct)....

NBC News is reporting that white people are the "biggest terror threat in the U.S." citing a study. Oddly, despite the headline, "White Americans Are Biggest Terror Threat in U.S.: Study," in the text of their quick article, NBC, does not actually say that white people are the biggest terror threat. Instead, NBC's article reads, "The New America Foundation found that twice as many people have died in attacks by right-wing groups in America than by Muslim extremists since 9/11." ...Besides the obvious problems with NBC's clickbait headline, there other tremendous problems with the "study." First, it specifically excludes September...

Conservative commentator Ann Coulter ripped The Associated Press Monday after the wire organization released a picture of Sen. Ted Cruz with a gun pointed directly at his head. The photo, which was taken during a Cruz event at a CrossRoads Shooting Sports store in Johnston, Iowa Saturday, caused a stir among conservatives in the aftermath, though the AP claims it had no intention to portray Cruz “in a negative light.” “That is so outrageous,” Coulter told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. “Don’t insult our intelligence by saying ‘oh, we didn’t even notice. Who would have seen something like that?'” After Kelly...

Ben Hubbard of the New York Times writes of the Islamic State, or ISIS, that “…the group is offering reliable, if harsh, security; providing jobs in decimated economics; and providing a rare sense of order in a region overwhelmed by conflict.” This summary of ISIS and their good deeds sounds eerily similar (and just as disgusting) to the accolades bestowed upon Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party before — and even after — the Second World War and the Holocaust. Hubbard uses the example of a nameless labourer from Raqqa who had “earned good money painting their offices,” who opined...

Washington Post TV critic Hank Stuever loved the latest HBO documentary on "gun carnage," as the Monday headline has it. Online, the headline was "A deep wallow in gun-related senselessness." It was "remarkably good" and "notably free of a direct anti-gun harangue," Stuever wrote, but he was still depressed that HBO was only preaching to the liberal choir ("people already horrified by gun violence and gun culture") and the film "won't ever be seen by those who most need to see it." Requiem for the Dead: American Sp

Most curators hope to get glowing reviews and popular acclaim when they mount an exhibit. Michael Kamber, on the other hand, is expecting some blowback for his latest show, “Altered Images: 150 Years of Posed and Manipulated Documentary Photography,” which opens this weekend at the Bronx Documentary Center. And he’s perfectly O.K. with that. “I think there will be some unhappy people,” said Mr. Kamber, a photojournalist and founder of the center. “That’s good. If people would stop faking photos, then they wouldn’t have to be worried about being called out.” The exhibit, a selection of well-known images that have...

It took less than two days for the press to take a story about a white South Carolina man who shot and killed nine black churchgoers, and turn it into a story about the Confederate battle flag flying outside South Carolina's state house. For media, the flag as a supposedly influential symbol of racial oppression and hate represented an issue that required immediate attention and hours of coverage. By Friday, the press' focus on the flag was intense.

A new Gallup survey has revealed that Americans have approximately twice as much confidence in law enforcement personnel—52 percent—as they do in newspapers—24 percent—and television news—21 percent. The telephone poll was conducted June 2-7 and included Gallup’s newest survey on confidence in U.S. institutions, which it has updated every year since 1993. According to an article by Jeffrey M. Jones, “Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one. Only the military (72 percent) and small business (67 percent)—the highest-rated institutions in this year’s poll—are currently rated higher than their historical norms.” …

Last week’s cover story in The Times Magazine, “Scott Walker and the Fate of the Union,” drew hundreds of reader comments – and some mail to the Public Editor’s office. Two of the emails presented questions that I decided to pose to the magazine’s editor, Jake Silverstein. [SNIP] Mr. Silverstein’s response: Thanks for your question. It’s a perfectly reasonable one. To me, the answer lies in the distinction between a magazine story and a story produced by the newsroom for the daily paper. As you note, “an article in the magazine is a feature and doesn’t have exactly the same...

The New York Times ran an article this weekend profiling and quoting many children of gay and lesbian parents under the headline “What Could Gay Marriage Mean for the Kids?”Noticeably absent were any children who, while loving their two moms or two dads, yearned for both a mom and dad.In my new book, “The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom,” I devote a chapter to highlighting the stories of children of gays and lesbians who have spoken out about how redefining marriage has social costs. Their basic story is the same: Same-sex marriage denies children like them a relationship with...
