Young Muslims are being taught extremist views in British mosques, an undercover investigation has found. Shocking footage of children apparently being hit by their teachers during lessons on the Koran will also be aired on Channel 4's Dispatches programme on Monday. A hidden camera installed by a reporter at a school in Birmingham recorded a preacher telling pupils "the disbelievers are the worst creatures, they are the worst creatures".

Asghar Bukhari condemns Woolwich attack but then goes on to propagate the Al Qaeda narrative that Britain is to blame for home grown Muslim terrorists due to British military involvement in Muslim countries. He didn't explain that most of the Muslims who die in Muslims countries are murdered by other Muslims i.e. Syria. He also didn't thank NATO for removing the Libyan tyrant Gaddafi. What he did demonstrate quite eloquently was that a proportion of British born Muslims identify with being part of Islam ahead of being part of Britain, how large that proportion is perhaps more worrying... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DaN7quv48jk

Pope Francis set a record by canonizing 800 15th Century laymen that refused to convert to Islam and brutally died because of it. It is a story of faith and strength in the face of death, death from a brutal and barbaric people. But NBC is worried for poor Pope Francis. They are worried that acknowledging that these 800 heroes died true martyrs death and thus are assured of heaven, that the Pope may have hurt Islam's feelings. But no worries, there is someone more evil than the Pope to blame. But the choice to highlight their sacrifice may put...

Women on UK university campuses are being discriminated against as more and more events force separate attendance and seating arrangements. ... The events in question have been primarily hosted by Islamic societies on campuses, who often use separate telephone numbers for men and women to book their attendance, and either advertise each individual event as segregated, or have blanket policies enforcing the move. Events with speakers such as Zahir Mahmood, Abu Usamah, Lauren Booth, Hamza Tzortzis and Adnan Rashid have all been segregated.

The "Turkish Khomeini," Fethullah Gulen, lives in Pennsylvania. From there he runs a $25 billion international network. He is a prime mover behind the rapid Islamization of Turkey, and he urges Muslims to build schools to indoctrinate an entire generation. He is tied to hundreds of Gulen charter schools right here in the United States. (Texas alone has 36 of these Gulen charter schools.) I recently heard from a teacher at a Gulen Movement school. "There are so many ethical violations occurring here every day," he told me, "that it is hard to know where to start." And worse, there...

Al Jazeera gets exclusive access to Boko Haram terrorists and then complain that self-proclaimed members of this group should either be charged or released by the Nigerian government. For those who don’t know, Boko Haram is a particularly barbaric Jihadist organization. They have made a practice of targeting Christian worshippers on Christian Holy days, such as Easter Sunday and Christmas. We have covered these horrible atrocities from time to time on TTB… http://terrortrendsbulletin.com/2012/04/08/boko-haram-islamikaze-car-bomb-kills-38-christians-outside-easter-service-in-kaduna-nigeria/ Boko Haram has sometimes been described as an Al Qaeda affiliate, but it is actually an independent organization. It may have received forms of support from Al...

Syrian Christians Told Convert, Leave, or Die Religious Freedom Coalition Apr 26th, 2013 Christians remaining in Syria have been given three choices by the American supported Free Syrian Army (FSA): convert to Islam, flee their homeland, or die. It is widely believed that this Islamic ideology will be enacted nationwide if President Assad is overthrown. Many Westerners falsely assume that since the FSA opposes a dictatorship, they must be democratic, secular, and tolerant. In reality, however, the FSA seeks to establish a totally Islamic state governed by Sharia law. Although many have suffered as a result of the civil war,...

So what is it about liberalism that makes it so difficult for it to take a clear, critical look at Islam, even while liberals have no problem excoriating Christians for every imaginable historical evil? I believe I can give at least a partial answer, if we take a big step back from the present scene and view the history of Western liberalism on a larger scale. Liberalism is an essentially secular movement that began within Christian culture. (In Worshipping the State, I trace it all the way back to Machiavelli in the early 1500s.) Note the two italicized aspects: secular...

The Council on American Islamist Relations (CAIR) demanded the media drop the term “Islamist” in a commentary piece today from communications director Ibrahim Hooper, SLAM-OPED: Media Urged to Drop Term ‘Islamist’ in New Year. In it, Hooper laments that the term “Islamist” is “used in an almost exclusively pejorative context” and unfairly labels any politically active Muslim with the term. Hooper appears to be reacting to the term’s incorporation in 2012 into the AP Stylebook, the style manual for journalists, as follows: Islamist — Supporter of government in accord with the laws of Islam. Those who view the Quran as...

Over the last four years, a die-hard cadre of activists and their allies in Congress have dragged the Republican Party into a fever swamp of Islamophobia and barely-concealed anti-Muslim bigotry. In their paranoid scenario, Islamic Shariah law is creeping into American courts; the Department of Justice has come under the sway of the Muslim Brotherhood; and the president’s engagement ring includes secret writing that indicates Muslim loyalties. But after a November election that saw three of the party's loudest voices on "creeping Shariah" defeated—and the GOP presidential nominee ignore the issue entirely—the anti-Islam movement within the Republican party may have...

For folks who don’t remember, Tanzania is one of the East African nations where the US embassy was bombed by Al Qaeda in August of 1998. Zanzibar is an island off Tanzania’s coast in the Indian Ocean. It has been somewhat of a tourist destination–at least up to now. Up to now because Salafi Islam is making its presence felt in Zanzibar. This is remarkable in that it illustrates vividly how “charities” in the Islamic world aren’t like charities elsewhere. They get involved in all sorts of activities that have nothing to do with charity at all.

A Wahhabi religious cleric in Saudi Arabia, Muhammed al-Arifi, who is very influential in Jihadi circles, has recently issued a fatwa (religious edict) that permits all Jihadist militants in Syria to engage in short-lived marriages with Syrian women that each lasts for a few hours in order to satisfy their sexual desires and boost their determination in killing Syrians. He called the marriage as 'intercourse marriage'. It requires that the Syrian female be at least 14 years old, widowed, or divorced.

A British think tank has released a lengthy report claiming that militant Islam is the greatest existential threat to Middle Eastern Christianity, bringing Christian communities in the region "close to extinction." The London-based Civitas, also known as the Institute for the Study of Civil Society, published the report in December. "Christianity is in serious danger of being wiped out in its biblical heartlands because of Islamic oppression," reads a statement from the group issued Sunday. "But Western politicians and media largely ignore the widespread persecution of Christians in the Middle East and the wider world because they are afraid they...

Islamist gunmen destroyed several tombs in Timbuktu on Sunday, residents said, days after the United Nations authorised African states to ready a force to take on al Qaeda-linked groups in Mali's northern desert zones. "Since 0800 (GMT) this morning, the Islamists have been destroying tombs again," Youssouf Toure, a resident of the ancient trading town, told Reuters by telephone. "(They are) targeting new ones and the ones they destroyed several months ago," he added. Residents said the attacks on traditional Sufi Islamic shrines were being carried out by about 15 heavily-armed fighters, some weilding pick axes. At least two previously...

The bodies of 15 members of Pakistan's paramilitary Frontier Constabulary (FC) have been found, almost two weeks after they were kidnapped from a north-western town, officials said. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has claimed responsibility for the killings. "We have received dead bodies of 15 kidnapped FC men", senior local FC commander Ali Sher Mehsud said, revising the earlier death toll. He said that the FC men were killed in Shawa, a small town in the North Waziristan tribal region near the Afghan border. All the corpses, which arrived in a military hospital in the north-western Tal town, had bullet wounds, he...

Observers who follow such things know how important the Holy Land Foundation terrorism financing trial has been in uncovering the spread of both violent and civilizational jihad in the USA. For those who may not be familiar with the Holy Land Foundation trial, here is a very brief synopsis: The Holy Land Foundation was the largest Islamic charity in the United States. It was headquartered in Richardson, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. In 2007, federal prosecutors brought charges against the organization for funding Hamas and other Islamic terrorist organizations. The Holy Land Foundation’s assets were frozen by the European Union...
