ELDER PATRIOT – There's a strange and growing dichotomy emerging between the polls conducted by the mainstream media and those using newer and more sophisticated analytical techniques. The most recent poll reveals Trump is trouncing Hillary by 28 points nationwideaccording to unbiased responses from 100,000 respondents. By comparison, the average number of respondents to the last six polls cited on the Real Clear Politics website was only 2,858. The poll uses social media through an app called Zip Question and Answer and it allows users to both ask and answer questions with instant results from a cross-section of demographics and...
  • Graham on Trump: 'He's in a death spiral'

    08/19/2016 12:34:01 PM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 111 replies
Sen. Lindsey Graham is worried Donald Trump's floundering presidential campaign will cost the Senate Republicans their majority. "People are getting pretty nervous about our candidates because he's in a death spiral here and nobody knows where the bottom is at," the South Carolina Republican told the New York Times. The Republican presidential nominee overhauled his campaign this week following a string of controversial comments that angered many in the party. But it is unclear if that will help Trump avoid the fall he's seen in recent national and state polls. Specifically, Republicans worry that Trump's struggles in the swing states...

Health officials have confirmed three travel-associated cases of Zika virus discovered in Cochise County earlier this month. Two county residents tested positive for the virus two weeks ago, and a third person tested positive days later, on Aug. 8. All three individuals had recently traveled to Puerto Rico, which the Center for Disease Control and Prevention reports has 7,855 locally-acquired cases of the virus. “None of these people (in Cochise County) are pregnant or are able to be pregnant,” said Elizabeth Lueck, Cochise County’s public health emergency preparedness program director. She said she could not confirm all three individuals are...

Growing up, Jimmie Williams’ family and friends supported the Democrat Party. So naturally, he decided he too was a Democrat. But the older he got, the more he questioned the political path that seemed predetermined for him. He suppressed his doubts, telling The College Fix in an email interview dissenters are branded traitors to the black community. In private, however, his concerns grew — even as he took on leadership roles within the University of Memphis College Democrats and the College Democrats of Tennessee. Then, in 2014, Williams attended a meeting of the College Republicans at the University of Memphis...

OMAHA, NE (WCMH) – A dad in Nebraska learned to watch what he eats after ingesting four marijuana brownies and having to call paramedics. The Omaha World-Herald reports that the 53-year-old man was unloading groceries Tuesday and apparently found some brownies in the back of the car, which his adult children had used earlier in the day. He ate four of them. The man’s wife told police that he started having “bad anxiety” while they were watching television. She tried to call her children to ask, but couldn’t reach them. Police showed up at the house, followed by one of...

Senator Cruz stunned conservatives when he refused to endorse Donald Trump at the RNC Convention in Cleveland. This came after Cruz was thumped in the GOP primary race. Perry leads Cruz in a senate primary matchup 46% to 37%. The Texas Tribune reported: A new poll suggests there is at least one fellow Republican who could unseat U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz in 2018: Rick Perry. The former Texas governor would beat Cruz by 9 percentage points, according to the forthcoming survey from the Democratic-leaning firm Public Policy Polling. Set to be released later today, the poll found Perry would get...
  • Lindsey Graham predicts Trump loss: ‘Reality is reality’

    08/18/2016 9:16:21 AM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 132 replies
Sen. Lindsey Graham has predicted a massive loss for Donald Trump in November, saying the GOP presidential nominee has alienated voters to the point of no return. “Reality is reality,” the South Carolina Republican said Tuesday on WABC Radio’s Imus in the Morning, BuzzFeed first reported. “Mitt Romney got 27% of the Hispanic vote. By 2050, a majority of the country will be African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and others, and we’re losing demographically. We’ve gone from 44% with Bush to 27% with Romney, and I don’t think Donald Trump’s gonna get 20%,” Mr. Graham said. “The problems we’ve had with young...

he leftist progressive media is doing everything it can to reshape the narrative when it comes to Donald Trump. I believe we clearly understand that regardless of what Trump says, the liberal progressive media is going to try and define his words to their advantage. However, the left just stepped into something that needs to be clarified — actually shoved up their “fourth point of contact.” It appears the left is taking umbrage with Trump referring to Hillary Clinton as a “bigot.” “The Democratic Party has failed and betrayed the African-American community,” Trump declared. “The Democratic Party has taken the...

EXCLUSIVE/ Two independent sources told EurActiv.com that the US has started transferring nuclear weapons stationed in Turkey to Romania, against the background of worsening relations between Washington and Ankara . According to one of the sources, the transfer has been very challenging in technical and political terms. “It’s not easy to move 20+ nukes,” said the source, on conditions of anonymity. According to a recent report by the Simson Center, since the Cold War, some 50 US tactical nuclear weapons have been stationed at Turkey’s Incirlik air base, approximately 100 kilometres from the Syrian border. During the failed coup in...
  • Merkel says refugees didn't bring Islamist terrorism to Germany...Liberal Bubble World Report!

Chancellor Angela Merkel said on Wednesday refugees had not brought terrorism to Germany, adding that Islam belonged in the country as long as it was practiced in a way that respected the constitution. More than a million people fleeing war and poverty in the Middle East, Africa and elsewhere arrived in Germany last year. The mood towards them has soured after a spate of attacks on civilians last month, including three carried out by migrants. Two of those attacks were claimed by the Islamic State militant group. "The phenomenon of Islamist terrorism, of IS, is not a phenomenon that came...

"""BREAKING: Khizr Khan Family AKA “Kinky Lick” On Ashley Madison, Using Dead Son’s Foundation Building As Fetish Sex Club?""" The family of Khizr Khan, the anti-Trump Muslim who spoke at the DNC, was found using cheating site Ashley Madison, as well as found apparently using the building for Khan’s deceased son’s foundation as a private fetish sex club. Khizr Khan got a lot of attention for bringing up his son, Humayun Khan, who died in the Iraq War, in his attack on Trump. A quick public records search of Khizr Khan reveals he used the e-mail address “kinkylick@hotmail.com.” A search...
  • Jeb Bush boosts Cole for governor

    08/17/2016 2:25:20 PM PDT · by ChicagoConservative27 · 14 replies
MORGANTOWN — Jeb Bush hit the campaign trail Tuesday for West Virginia Republican gubernatorial nominee Bill Cole, a Donald Trump supporter in heavily pro-Trump coal country. Bush, who has said he won’t vote for Trump or Hillary Clinton for president, addressed a West Virginia business group Tuesday about fighting substance abuse, reforming the tax code, cutting regulations and overhauling the education system. But the former Florida governor’s speech largely avoided commentary on Trump, a bitter rival whose attacks became personal during a crowded Republican presidential primary. Bush also headlined a Cole fundraiser Tuesday evening. “I’d say that everybody has their...
  • How to Talk About Gun Rights With Gun Control Advocates

Guns are a tricky topic. Very rarely do you find voters ambivalent about gun violence, gun safety, etc. Someone is either strongly pro-gun rights or pro-gun control, which makes a civil conversation difficult to start or maintain. But the solution isn’t to avoid the topic. As I mentioned in my last column, you may be the only conservative who tries to challenge a liberal’s worldview. No pressure. It may sound like a heavy weight to bear, but not if you’re prepared. So, let’s talk guns.

The father of Sylville Smith, an armed black man who was fatally shot by Milwaukee police, sparking a wave of violent protests over the weekend, says his son was a product of bad parenting. “What are we gonna do now? Everyone playing their part in this city, blaming the white guy or whatever, and we know what they’re doing,” Patrick Smith told a local Fox News affiliate. “These young kids gotta realize this is all a game with them. Like they’re playing Monopoly. You young kids falling into their world, what they want you to do. Everything you do is...

Democrat vice presidential candidate Sen. Tim Kaine says the United States is far behind some Muslim countries in treating women equally because it is “below the global average” in the percentage of women in elected office. Kaine said in a speech at a rally in Fayetteville, North Carolina Tuesday: It took 144 years before women even got the right to vote in this country. What were we thinking when we said equality mattered, but no. One hundred and forty-four years. It took us that long to say in 1920, to say women get a right to vote. And now we’re...
