A Ukrainian security spokesman has accused Russia's air force of shooting down one of its jets while it was on a mission over Ukrainian territory. Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Ukrainian National Security and Defence Council, said an Su-25 ground attack plane was downed on Wednesday evening. One of the largest collections of military machines in the United States is being auctioned July 11-12 in California. It was curated over the years by the late Jacques Littlefield, who housed the collection at his Military Vehicle Technology Foundation in Portola Valley. After Littlefield’s death in 2009, the collection was acquired by the Collings Foundation, an educational organization whose mission is to preserve the history of military automobiles and aircraft.

In a callous and unreasonable act of complete disregard for our military, Obama’s Defense Department has sent pink slips to military officers serving on the battlefield in Afghanistan. This reminds one of the treatment of victims of Nadal Hassan in Ft. Hood, but it gets even more intriguing. While this is going on, the Pentagon and the military are looking to keep and employ more Muslims.
