Ann, I leave the Army for good in September of this year. My chain of command has been shell shocked that I am going through with it. Two years ago when I first came to grips with what was happening and resolved to no longer be a part of it, there was derision and even an officer telling me that voicing my opinions about the state of the US economy and its moral failings could be considered a violation of the UCMJ for conduct “prejudicial to good order and discipline.” When I gave my Operations NCO a copy of the...

Earlier this week, Trump said something inappropriate about Gold Star mother Ghazala Khan. Her son, Army Captain Humayun Khan, was killed in Iraq back in 2004, but was silent when she and her husband, Khizr, briefly spoke at the Democratic National Convention. Khizr torched Trump in his address, which prompted the unseemly response from the Republican nominee. Khizr said that Trump knows nothing of sacrifice, lacks empathy, and is ignorant of the U.S. Constitution. Okay—so Trump’s remarks, which arguably were touching upon the whole Islamic submission of women angle, was terrible. Yet, let’s not forget that Hillary Clinton also criticized...

MANILA — Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte called off a week-long ceasefire after communist guerrillas killed a government militiaman and failed to declare their own truce by a Saturday deadline he had imposed. It was the first irritant in what has been a blossoming relationship between Duterte, who calls himself a left-wing president, and the Maoist guerrillas, who have been waging one of Asia’s longest-running communist insurgencies. Both sides had agreed to resume peace talks next month in Norway, and it was not immediately clear whether the talks would be affected. After withdrawing his ceasefire order, Duterte issued a statement on...

Dear Mr. Khan: I, like millions of Americans saw your speech at the DNC on Thursday night. I wish to offer my sympathy for the death of your son, Captain Humayun Khan, who was killed in action in Iraq. As a former US Army officer, and a veteran of the Gulf War, I can certainly understand the pain and anguish that you and your wife endure every day. Your son died saving the lives of his fellow soldiers. As John the Baptist wrote, Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends....

It’s literally something more absurd every day now… Practically every 24 hour news cycle, the perfumed princes and princesses in the Pentagon announce some ludicrous bit of social engineering that sounds so compassionate, sensitive, politically correct and trendy, but in actuality is another nail in the coffin of the US Armed Forces. The latest bit of total insanity was the announcement that US Navy was going to name a ship after deceased gay activist Harvey Milk. According to USNI News: The Navy is set to name a ship after the gay rights icon and San Francisco politician Harvey Milk, according...

I don't blame them, i don't blame them at all! Those c*&t "gamers" should be shipped right away to those other c$%ts of ISIS, no ifs ands or buts!

Some 7,000 armed police with heavy vehicles have surrounded and blocked the Incirlik air base in Adana used by NATO forces, already restricted in the aftermath of a failed coup. Unconfirmed reports say troops were sent to deal with a new coup attempt. Hurriyet reported earlier that Adana police had been tipped off about a new coup attempt, and forces were immediately alerted. The entrance to the base was closed off. Security forces armed with rifles and armored TOMA vehicles used by Turkish riot police could be seen at the site in photos taken by witnesses....

This is the truth about the DNC’s General Allen from MilitaryCorruption.com He’s bad news By Glen MacDonald This is no joke or April Fool type prank, dear reader. You can't make this stuff up. A retired Marine general and former NATO commander in Afghanistan (2011-2013), who somehow found time to send thousands of e-mails (some of them clearly "inappropriate" for a married man to be sending to another woman) has endorsed Hillary Clinton for president. Gen. John Allen, we are told, is set to speak at the ongoing Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia in an obvious effort to dent Donald...

Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan’s purge of political enemies after a counterfeit coup attempt has compromised U.S. led operations against the Islamic State. Many of the senior Turkish officers who were working with the United States have been either removed from military service or jailed. After the staged coup, President Erdogan began purging the military, with approximately 1,700 military personnel receiving dishonorable discharges including nearly half of the nation’s admirals and generals. The Turkish military had traditionally been the vanguard against the country being taken over by a dictator. Erdogan, however, greatly increased the size and strength of Turkey’s national police...

Chelsea Manning may face charges relating to a suicide attempt this year, which could lead to indefinite solitary confinement or transferral to a maximum-security facility, according to a civil rights group. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) announced on Thursday that Manning, who is serving a 35-year sentence in military custody for leaking state secrets to the whistleblowing site WikiLeaks, was under investigation for three charges related to her 5 July suicide attempt: “resisting the force cell move team”, “prohibited property”, and “conduct which threatens”. Manning confirmed through her lawyers in July that she was receiving medical care after having...

Following the brutal murder of an elderly Catholic Priest in France, ISIS has publicly warned British Christian clergy and their congregants: you’re next. Police publicly warned Britain’s 5.4 million Christian church goers, pastors and clergy to be on alert as they are likely targets for ISIS. The Daily Mail reports that security has now been increased for Britain’s 47,000 churches in response to ISIS’s threat to target Christians and churches in major world cities. Roughly 5.4 million British citizens are church members.

The fiery crash on a warm Florida evening on July 4, 2012 left an unconscious man trapped in his burning car. Seemingly out of nowhere, a figure plunged out of the darkness through a sheet of flames to rip open the door and carry the driver to safety just moments before the car exploded. Like a scene from a movie, the Independence Day hero retreated to the shadows of obscurity, but it wouldn’t be the last time he would help someone in danger. A modest man, Sabin Barto, 39, doesn’t talk much about his 10+ years in the U.S. Navy....

CHARLOTTE, NC (WTVD) -- Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump continued his swing through North Carolina on Tuesday with a speech to the VFW convention in Charlotte. Trump spoke about problems within the Veterans Administration, including the scandal of long waits and poor quality healthcare. "We're going to bring honesty back to government and that starts with the VA," Trump told the crowd....

Incirlik Air Base is located in the Ä°ncirlik quarter of the city of Adana, Turkey. The United States Air Force and the Turkish Air Force are the primary users of the base, although it is also used by the Royal Air Force and by the Royal Saudi Air Force. The air base has continued to rely on backup generators since the failed coup plunged the country into crisis. Commercial power was cut to the base in and the airspace above it closed to air traffic within hours of last Friday's attempted military takeover in the NATO country. There is little...

Welcome to 2016 when male soldiers train in pregnancy simulators, tactical lactation stations dot the battlefield, women are fraudulently passed through Ranger School and US Navy sailors willingly surrender their boats and equipment to Iranian thugs without so much as firing a flare. It’s the era of breast milk in the field and Liberace joins Delta Force… A perfect storm, a Category Five hurricane of doom and destruction is sweeping over the US military with the deadly accuracy of the Angel of Death on Passover. We have a President who is intent on destroying the military through insane social engineering....

Two speeches at the opening night of the GOP Convention stood in stark contrast in both their content and their treatment by the lamestream media. The chattering class on the left focused on Melania Trump’s alleged plagiarism of Michelle Obama’s speech in 2008. They have largely ignored Patricia Smith, mother of Benghazi casualty Sean Smith, and her documentation of Hillary’s lies to the parents of the Benghazi dead in front of their son’s caskets. Melania may have paraphrased too close to the edge, but borrowing clichés about hard work and family does not plagiarism make and, even so, plagiarism is...

Ah, I remember my own days in the military fondly, but one of the biggest adjustments we had to make was learning that there was a set of instructions for doing everything from operating heavy machinery to washing your socks. Hey… that’s just military life for you. There’s always a manual to be referred to and if you get confused, there’s a manual listing all of the manuals. Take for example the rules about getting a sex change operation. You’ll want to make sure that you’ve checked in with the correct sources and… Wait a minute. What was that again?...

In 1987, I had to go through chemotherapy for cancer. It led me to learn a lot about the disease. The cancer spreads. If you let a few cells go, eventually, they will get to a point where they invade the surrounding cells and the cycle goes on and on. What we're seeing in Radical Islamic Terror is that the cells are growing, they're malignant, they're deadly. We recently saw 84 souls stolen due to yet another monster who used a truck through a crowd. A few weeks earlier, 50 killed at a night club. Our feckless leadership over and...

FN Manufacturing rented advertising space in the Columbia, SC Airport. The Richland-Lexington Airport District approved the billboard. It didn't see anything inappropriate about the ad. Twenty percent of the travelers through the airport are soldiers. Then the political pressure started. From thestate.com: Columbia Metropolitan Airport has removed a billboard-sized advertisement of a firearms manufacturer from its concourse. The decision comes a day after The State newspaper reported the ad, featuring eight firearms from FN Manufacturing, upset some travelers. It touted, “Yeah, we carry.” “I pulled in the commission, and really, they felt that given the negative feedback that it’d probably be...

The Obama administration is getting desperate and is making what might be its final offer to Moscow to end the hostilities in Syria. Obama is calling for enhanced intelligence and military cooperation with Russia against the Islamic State and other extremist groups in the nation. Obama is also calling for President Bashar al-Assad and the Russians to honor a UN brokered ceasefire with U.S.-supported rebel groups which includes Assad’s removal from power. Secretary of State John Kerry met with Russia's top diplomat to discuss Syria's civil war and Assad's future. Apparently desperate for a Nobel Peace Prize, Kerry is trying...
