Be careful what you wish for … you just might get it. Jill Stein didn’t get the recount she wanted in Michigan, but she did get the state to take vote-integrity issues seriously. Meeting in its lame-duck session, the state House of Representatives passed a tough voter-ID bill that includes $3 million for funding of free state identification and birth certificates after over 18,000 voters cast ballots without identification in the presidential election: Michigan’s Republican-led House on Wednesday night approved a strict voter identification proposal over strenuous objections from Democrats who argued the plan could disenfranchise properly registered voters.Michigan...

Michigan lawmakers are rushing to push through a law to block future attempts like the one they are currently dealing with. The frivolous waste of money lawsuit brought by Dr. Jill Stein. As Michigan lawmakers currently look for money to repair water lines poisoning their residents, Stein is burning up taxpayer money in the state. Now lawmakers are rushing the legislation that will force any candidate who didn't get at least 5% of the vote to have to pay the full cost of a recount. Currently, Stein will only pay $1 million of a recount expected to cost taxpayers as...

A federal judge who ordered Michigan to begin its recount effectively ended it on Wednesday, tying his decision to a state court ruling that found Green Party candidate Jill Stein had no legal standing to request another look at ballots. The ruling seals Republican Donald Trump’s narrow victory over Democrat Hillary Clinton for Michigan’s 16 electoral votes. U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith agreed with Republicans who argued that the three-day recount must end a day after the state appeals court dealt a blow to the effort. The court said Stein, who finished fourth in Michigan on Nov. 8, didn’t have...

In Detroit, one of the chief ways they engage in voter fraud is to count the same ballot MULTIPLE times. This is just ONE way. They also do some shady stuff with absentee ballots etc.

DETROIT - A Republican member of the Electoral College from Michigan has created a website urging Donald Trump supporters to rally electors around the president-elect. Brian Fairbrother, deputy clerk for the Detroit suburb of Shelby Township, launched ElectorsforTrump.com this week. Fairbrother says he and fellow electors have been deluged with missives from people urging them to vote for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton or another Republican. Fairbrother tells The Associated Press he's received "thousands" of emails and letters. He doesn't believe any of the writers supported Trump....

The Attorney General and President-Elect Donald J. Trump have filed separate complaints for mandamus, each asking this Court to compel the Board of State Canvassers (the Board) to reject the November 30, 2016 petition of Green Party Presidential Candidate Dr. Jill Stein to recount the votes cast in the November 8, 2016 general election for the Office of President of the United States, and to cease any and all efforts to conduct the requested recount. Both the Attorney General and President-Elect Trump assert in part that Dr. Stein’s petition failed to meet the requirements of MCL 168.879(1)(b) because she is...

So Jill Stein is demanding three state recounts, for "election integrity" as she says. Odd that she is only targeting states where Trump won by razor-thin margins. Why not also recount New Hampshire (Hillary by 0.4%)? I hope that the next time something like this happens, the GOP immediately demands a recount as well, but of those states the Democrats barely won.

A federal judge in Detroit has called a hearing for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday to consider whether Michigan's presidential recount should continue after an unfavorable ruling by a state appeals court. U.S District Judge Mark Goldsmith's order allowed the recount to begin Monday, but his decision dealt with the timing, not the merits of the count. On Tuesday, a Michigan appeals court ordered the state's election board to reject Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein's petition for the recount, finding that she had no chance of emerging as the winner in the state. Goldsmith's hearing on Wednesday could sort out whether...

Michigan’s Court of Appeals ordered the state government on Tuesday evening to undo its previous approval of an election recount requested by Green Party presidential nominee Jill Stein. The decision will not interfere with the ongoing recount in the state, however, due to a 2-1 ruling by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit that came out around the same time, according to the Detroit Free Press. The Court of Appeals for the 6th Circuit upheld a ruling that U.S. District Judge Mark Goldsmith issued early Monday morning ordering the recount to proceed at noon that day, and...
