The other day Salon ran a piece about a “scientific” study that made the astounding claim that we can cut down on child rape by allowing degenerates to view child pornography. To her credit, Tracy Clark-Flory surprised child advocates everywhere by almost disagreeing with such putrid pseudo-science: The study certainly raises interesting philosophical questions about promoting objectionable material to prevent real-world crimes — but it’s also majorly flawed.
