Talk about paranoid conspiracy theorists! On MSNBC's The Weekend on Sunday morning, leftist historian Michael Beschloss claimed the "chances are very large" that in October 2024, i.e., just before the election, Putin, China, Erdogan, etc. are "going to make a big effort to make trouble and chaos to make Joe Biden look bad."[snip] Co-anchor Michael Steele asked Beschloss to explain why Trump voters are "susceptible" to his pitch, even though he is telling them of his plans to be a "dictator." Hilariously, Beschloss blamed people's support for Trump on . . . schools! He declared that schools have stopped teaching...

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss said Saturday on MSNBC’s “American Voices” that former President Donald Trump intentionally uses language that “led to the Holocaust.” Beschloss said, “Absolutely, and provide Hitler with an easy way to blame the many ills of Germany 1924 after World War I, one group which was Jewish people as well as some others but it was mainly Jews. And for Donald Trump as a former president and possible future president to use that language, knowing that that language led to the Holocaust, he knows what he’s doing, and he thinks it works.”

Conservatives on Twitter hammered NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss for a "Soviet"-sounding tweet demanding to know who exactly did not clap for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his address to Congress on Wednesday. Zelenskyy traveled to the U.S. on Wednesday, his first trip outside of Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in early 2022. During his trip abroad, Zelensky met with President Joe Biden and addressed a joint session of Congress, seeking continued support U.S. and funding of the war with Russia. Most members of Congress supported Zelenskyy’s message as he was given a standing ovation for his speech....

These utterances must be regarded as a preview of the future. Once a group of people has been branded evil and a threat to democracy, it presents an excuse to be stop them at any cost. There is little to gain from reading The New York Times and The Washington Post or watching MSNBC and CNN. The word ‘biased’ is insufficient to describe these outfits; instead, they must be regarded as a propaganda wing of the Democrat party. Their content reveals the mindset of the Democrats. They are so self-righteous that they unabashedly divulge what occupies their grey cells. This...

Presidential historian Michael Beschloss said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Symone” that former President Donald Trump was telling his followers “there should be violence” if he was indicted. Host Symone Sanders said, “There are 43% of Americans out there who believe a Civil War is either very, or somewhat likely to happen in the next decade. That is according to a poll by You Gov and the Economists. They also found that those who identify as quote strong Republicans are most likely to believe this. You have also got these elected Republican officials like Marjorie Taylor Greene calling for a national divorce....

MSNBC contributor and historian Michael Beschloss posted a tweet on Thursday evening recounting historical figures who had been executed for sharing U.S. nuclear secrets with foreign governments, and a former CIA chief shared the post with his own approving tweet. Conservative commentator Jerry Dunleavy accused Beschloss of "suggesting that Trump should be executed," considering it was posted just after the Washington Post piece speculating that the FBI had raided Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate to find missing nuclear documents. The Washington Post exclusive from Thursday afternoon attempted to offer more details as to what the FBI was searching for at Mar-a-Lago on...

MSNBC’s resident historian Michael Beschloss lost his mind as he reacted to the Supreme Court’s ruling that struck down Roe v. Wade. On Friday’s installment of The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle, he accused the Court of throwing acid in people’s faces, pushing the country towards an “almost civil war on the issue of abortion,” all because they can. Ruhle was upset that the Court did not consult polling data before issuing its opinion when she asked, “you know who doesn't have to fight aggressively or get reelected? Supreme Court justices…So, when we keep hearing about how unpopular this is...

Trump = Hitler is the political catnip that liberals just can't stay away from. Examples abound, including this item from 2019 quoting MSNBC's Donny Deutsch warning that if Trump were re-elected, another Holocaust could happen. And Joe Scarborough describing a Trump rally as a "Nuremberg" rally, and suggesting that things are beginning to "look like Germany in 1933." On Monday's Morning Joe, MSNBC historian Michael Beschloss, commenting on Trump's rally in Texas over the weekend, became the latest liberal to pencil-draw the little mustache on Trump. While piously prefacing his remarks by proclaiming that Trump isn't Hitler, he proceeded to...

Former first lady Melania Trump is firing back after NBC resident historian Michael Beschloss criticized her renovation of the Rose Garden — blasting his comments as “misleading” and “dishonorable.” Taking to Twitter, Trump’s office slammed Beschloss for his comments about her landscaping, writing, “@BeschlossDC has proven his ignorance by showing a picture of the Rose Garden in its infancy. The Rose Garden is graced with a healthy & colorful blossoming of roses. His misleading information is dishonorable & he should never be trusted as a professional historian.” The dig was in response to Beschloss, a presidential historian and frequent critic...

The news broke today that Twitter has permanently banned President Trump. The liberal brigades have predictably emerged to justify Twitter's move. But of all the arguments used to support the banning, this from "NBC News presidential historian" Michael Beschloss could be the most recklessly contemptible. MICHAEL BESCHLOSS: The problem, Twitter is instant. So, if he wants to have a sudden impact on people, or to move the stock market. Maybe he’s got friends who are investing in certain stocks that will benefit. Maybe they'll give him a kickback! I don't know if any of that is true.Get the rest of...

Just past midnight Thursday after one of the more surreal days in U.S. history, NBC News presidential historian Michael Beschloss all but donned a tinfoil hat on MSNBC to offer some utterly unhinged conspiracy theories, all cheered by 11th Hour host Lyin’ Brian Williams. Over the course of 11 and a half minutes, Beschloss suggested U.S. Capitol Police wanted and ensured violence took place inside the Capitol building, ruled he’s too scared to sleep at night, predicted President Trump will declare martial law, and use nuclear weapons before leaving office.

Serial fibber Brian Williams told yet another whopper on Friday night from his home in MSNBC exile known as The 11th Hour with Brian Williams. So what else is new? What makes his latest historical untruth ironically special is it came as Williams along with historian Michael Beschloss were fact checking President Donald Trump for a supposed error he made during his speech at a rally in Lebanon, Ohio on Friday. For years following the Civil War, many historians as well as much of the public in general discounted the military abilities of General Ulysses S. Grant by claiming he was able...

Hedge fund manager Marc Mezvinsky had friends in high places when he bet big on a Greek economic recovery, but even the keen interest of his mother-in-law, then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, wasn't enough to spare him and his investors from financial tragedy. In 2012, Mezvinski, the husband of Chelsea Clinton, created a $325 million basket of offshore funds under the Eaglevale Partners banner through a special arrangement with investment bank Goldman Sachs. The funds have lost tens of millions of dollars predicting that bailouts of the Greek banking system would pump up the value of the country’s distressed bonds....
