My computer keeps popping up messages from http://squipisioncha.co.in -- which I'm sure is a hacker site -- claiming to be McAfee (which I don't have) claiming it's trying to fix a virus & invasion. Also, every time I try to make an original post on Facebook, I get "Your post is being processed. We'll let you know when it's ready to view." I can share mems an memories. I can comment. I cannot type an original post. How do I fix these problems?

Let’s all take a deep breath, and think about the long-term results of Judge McAfee‘s opinion versus what the knee-jerk thinking is among the conservative podcasters. In my opinion, this may very well be a big win for Trump and the other defendants. For one thing, if Fanny stays on the case, that means she will need to answer questions regarding not only her indiscretions, lies, and other prosecutorial irregularities., She will also have to respond to why she went to DC and met with the Biden administration, Kamala Harris, and the DOJ. Nathan Wade, now is a possible witness....

ATLANTA (AP) — The judge in the Georgia election interference case against Donald Trump and others said Friday that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis must step aside from Trump case or remove the special prosecutor with whom she had a romantic relationship before case can proceed. Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade testified at a hearing last month that they had engaged in a romantic relationship, but they rejected the idea that Willis improperly benefited from it as lawyers for Trump and some of his co-defendants alleged. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee said he found the “allegations...

Fulton County Superior Judge Scott McAfee has set a March 1 hearing date for final arguments on whether District Attorney Fani Willis should be disqualified from the election interference case against former President Donald Trump. The hearing, the result of which could see Ms. Willis replaced with a different prosecutor, is set for 1 p.m., and is expected to be live-streamed, as with most Fulton County proceedings. Ms. Willis testified before Judge McAfee on Feb. 15–16, where she faced heated questioning over her relationship with top prosecutor Nathan Wade, amid allegations that Ms. Willis benefited financially from the relationship. Defense...

Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is fueling a rise in online voice scams, with just three seconds of audio required to clone a person’s voice. A new survey titled 'The Artificial Imposter' was conducted by McAfee with 7,054 people from seven countries, including India. The study shows that 69 per cent of Indians are not confident that they could identify the cloned version of a voice from the real thing, with 47 per cent of Indian adults have experienced or know someone who has experienced some kind of AI voice scam. The cost of falling for an AI voice scam can...

There is a serious problem with the homogenized nature of cybersecurity professionals, Trellix CEO Bryan Palma said during his keynote at the RSA Conference. An overwhelming majority of individuals in the cybersecurity field identify as straight, white, and male, according to a recent Trellix-commissioned survey conducted by a market research firm. This clear lack of diversity is holding the industry back in two main ways. “First, we are turning away great people and doing our industry a significant disservice by failing to cultivate a more inclusive environment,” Palma explained. “We are all better when we benefit from the diverse perspectives...

McAfee was widely reported to have hanged himself inside a Spanish jail in June 2021 while awaiting US extradition on tax evasion charges. But, according to his Belizean ex-girlfriend Samantha Herrera, he faked his own death, moved to Texas and is still alive. “I don’t know if I should say, but two weeks ago, after his death, I got a call from Texas: ‘It’s me, John. I paid off people to pretend that I am dead, but I am not dead,'” Herrera claims in the Netflix documentary “Running With the Devil: The Wild World of John McAfee,” out Wednesday. Herrera...

The body of software entrepreneur John McAfee remains in a Spanish morgue a year after his death as a legal case lodged by his family to demand further checks is yet to be resolved, authorities and his lawyer said. McAfee, who launched the world's first commercial anti-virus software in 1987, was found dead, aged 75, on June 23 last year in his prison cell a few hours after Spain's high court authorised his extradition to the United States on tax evasion charges.

Even in death, the John McAfee saga grows stranger. More than seven months after he died in a Spanish jail, McAfee’s body remains in a prison morgue freezer somewhere in or near Barcelona. His daughter and ex-wife waged a legal fight over the body and a Spanish judge is continuing to conduct an investigation over the cause of his death. At the same time, the first of what is expected to be several attempts to detail the hard-to-believe exploits of the antivirus-software pioneer has arrived, a book whose contents are vigorously denied by McAfee’s family. It is unclear to those...

John McAfee, who died yesterday, was one of the oddest men of our times. You might have thought Elon Musk was the most eccentric man in tech, with his fondness for memes, crypto-currencies and flamethrowers. Elon Musk was Joe Average compared to McAfee. The creator of the first commercial anti-virus software was one of a kind.

@Snowden Europe should not extradite those accused of non-violent crimes to a court system so unfair—and prison system so cruel—that native-born defendants would rather die than become subject to it. Julian Assange could be next. Until the system is reformed, a moratorium should remain.

The antivirus pioneer reportedly killed himself after he was prepared to be extradited to the United States, and within 30 minutes after a news outlet shared the news, McAfee's Instagram uploaded a photo of the capital letter Q. The 75-year-old tech mogul is reported to have taken his own life in prison in Barcelona, according to local paper El Pais. And the "Q" photo on his social media appears to be a reference to QANON, the bizarre conspiracy theory that was tied to the fortunes of former President Donald Trump. McAfee's latest Instagram post was shared without a caption and...
