New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D) has put crime on “hyper blast” thanks to left-wing measures like little-to-no bail for criminal suspects, Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Ronchetti says. During an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Ronchetti blasted Grisham for what he describes as a mix of lax immigration enforcement and a far-Left no-bail agenda that has culminated into a Catch and Release policy for criminals in New Mexico

Mark Ronchetti has resigned as KRQE-TV's chief meteorologist to consider a run for governor. "We have not made a final decision yet," Ronchetti said Friday in a statement. "Krysty and I will continue to talk to our girls and pray about the direction we're going to head in next," he added, referring to his wife and two young daughters. "We hope to have a final decision by next week." During Thursday night's news broadcast, the station reported that Ronchetti had "handed in his resignation to News 13 effective immediately" to consider a run for governor. SANTA FE – With New Mexico’s general election just over three months away, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has sparked criticism – and praise – by urging New Mexico political parties to forbid their candidates from door-to-door campaigning. During a Thursday news conference, Lujan Grisham said door-knocking, long a staple of political campaigns, was “hugely problematic” given the close proximity between voters and candidates amid a recent surge of coronavirus cases. “That is just a terrible idea in a COVID world,” she said. While the Democratic Party said this week it has already been focused on running largely virtual campaigns, state...

Mark Ronchetti, a meteorologist in Albuquerque and one of the most popular television figures in the state, is joining the race for U.S. Senate in New Mexico, adding more drama to a contest some Democrats had believed was a safe seat. Ronchetti, 46, announced Tuesday he is jumping into the fight for the GOP nomination after stepping down for his job Monday as chief meteorologist for the CBS affiliate in Albuquerque. ... Ronchetti said he was jumping into the race because he was “fed up” with politicians in Washington not solving problems. He called himself a “proud conservative New Mexican”...
