Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s former information technology (IT) aide. But odds are excellent they were wrong. Federal law enforcement authorities may have already recovered and read whatever was on those hard drives. “It depends on what happens, but even if it is hit with a hammer, it probably doesn’t damage the platters that actually hold the data, which remains recoverable,” said Tom Hakim, engineering supervisor for werecoverdata.com, a New York-based lab that specializes in difficult digital...

For me, this annual POW/MIA demonstration is all about doing what is right for the men and women who were sent to war and never came home and the families left behind. We owe nothing less than accountability and closure. I stumbled upon this amazing gathering of Rolling Thunder, Inc., by accident while stationed at the Pentagon. In 2001, I was a partner with the Korean War Commemoration Committee, and spent three days near the Korean War Veterans Memorial giving long-overdue appreciation and educating the public about it. Some call it the “forgotten war,” but I call it the “forgotten...

A Marine was found dead today - age 78 or 79. His wish is to be buried at Quantico VA Cemetery. However, we [my girlfriend and I] are having trouble locating documents such as a will, DD-214, etc. He was a lifelong friend of my girlfriend - like a 20 years older brother. So, we will shoulder the responsibility for getting him buried - if we can get documentation and certified to do so. He was estranged from his family, he had a son - and possibly a daughter. And, we have no idea of their names, much less how...
