This is the "white male" UCLA shooter Mainak Sarkar that the media has been telling us about for the last 24 hours. Unfortunately, none of what the media is telling us is true. The media appears to be falsely reporting identities that don't fit their political agenda. The suspect in the shooting of a UCLA professor has been named as PhD candidate Mainak Sarkar. The victim was Professor William Klug, 39, a teacher in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. Sarkar was first identified in a report by CBS News. He was a native of Minneapolis and had a PhD in solid mechanics from UCLA.
