Loyola University Chicago has chosen to renew a program limited to white students that appears to violate the Catholic school’s own nondiscrimination policy. Ramblers Analyzing Whiteness started three years ago as an “affinity space on campus for self-identified White students” who yearn to “become anti-racist, anti-supremacist White allies.”

He campaigned on a promise to end political correctness and bring pride back to the United States. And yet in the wake of Donald Trump’s election, American universities have taken political correctness to the extreme — with one removing the U.S. flag from their campus, and another speaking out against a “party in the USA” themed celebration, in case students were offended. In 2004, there was the scandal of Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a Catholic institution, giving an award to strongly pro-abortion Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan. Despite pleas from concerned Christians and even from Francis Cardinal George, Loyola refused to cancel the award. Well, it seems history is once again repeating itself. The Women's Council of St. Ignatius College Prep, located in the city of Chicago, will have Madigan as their featured speaker at their 7th Annual Women's Council Dinner on September 22, 2005.
