After spending several years hauling Donald Trump through court in an attempt to puncture his bottom line, New York’s Attorney General Letitia James is now employing the same lawfare tactics against VDARE, an anti-immigration website... “I launched VDARE.com on Christmas Eve 1999,” wrote Peter Brimelow, VDARE’s founder and editor, on Friday. “So it is perhaps appropriate that, on Good Friday 2024, the anniversary of Christ’s death, I must announce VDARE.com’s crucifixion by New York State’s communist Attorney General Letitia James.” VDARE has not been charged with any crime, yet has “fought NYAG Letitia James, at a cost of up to...

Under intense questioning by members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Merrick Garland acknowledged that "our office has had much more success prosecuting anti-abortionists who pray outside of abortion clinics than it has going after pro-abortionists that firebomb pregnancy centers." Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) was unimpressed by Garland's glib rationalization and suggested a different approach. "There have been 81 reported attacks on pregnancy centers and 130 attacks on Catholic churches since the Supreme Court's overturning of the Roe v. Wade decision was first leaked a year ago," he said. "Yet, only two individuals have been charged for these crimes....
  • Uranus may leak gas into space at least once a day

Uranus is weird. It’s unlike any other planet in our solar system for a number of reasons, but its most bizarre feature is that it rotates at a roughly 90-degree angle to all the other planets. Scientists believe that its strange orientation is due to an impact that the planet sustained early in its life, but they’re just beginning to understand how this particular circumstance is affecting the planet on a day-to-day basis. In a new paper published in the Journal of Geophysical Research, scientists explain that, based on models of the planet and its magnetosphere, it’s likely that the...

  • President Trump: Maxine Waters Is a 'Very Low I.Q. Individual'

President Donald J. Trump was in pique campaign form last night as he appeared at a Make America Great Again rally for Pennsylvania republican congressional hopeful, Rick Saccone. Once again, Trump came out swinging at a barrage of characters from Sleepy-eyed SOB Chuck Todd, CNN, and to the “great” stateswoman Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA.) "We have to defeat Nancy Pelosi and Maxine Waters, a very low I.Q. individual," Trump said to the raucous crowd. "You ever see her? You ever seen her? You ever see her? 'We will impeach him! We will impeach the president!' But he hasn't done anything wrong....

I am one conservative who is thankful for Hollywood’s collective inability not to say stupid things because I’m a columnist and these idiots are the gift that keeps on giving. Tired of writing about failing, fussy Fredocons and goose-stepping libs with a beef against the Bill of Rights? Well, like clockwork some genius will take to Twitter leveraging his GED and his supporting role as the sassy sidekick in a CW teen vampire dramedy to offer his super-insightful political/cultural insights to us normals and … BOOM! I have the launching pad for another sensational column. And this week has been exceptional,...

Scott Walker weighed in on the latest Donald Trump kerfuffle on Twitter, saying there was “no excuse” for Trump’s remarks about Megyn Kelly. Walker has so far made a point of staying out of the fray, avoiding both engaging with Trump or responding to Trump’s attacks on him. But today he changed tack, taking a jab at the business mogul.

When the leaders of 20 nations met in Washington in November to face down a grave economic crisis that imperiled them all, the air was filled with promises of a new era of global regulation intended to match a new era of global risk. “There ought to be some low-hanging fruit we can all agree on,” Senator John Kerry, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said on Monday. He spoke after a week of consulting with foreign leaders and hearing European complaints that Americans started this and now are less interested in creating the rules to prevent a...

STEVENSVILLE, Md. -- Maryland gubernatorial candidate Doug Duncan has at least one vote. He performed the Heimlich maneuver on a supporter who choked on a chicken sandwich during a campaign lunch stop over the weekend. Queen Anne's County Commissioner Gene Ransom got a bite of his meal stuck in his throat. Duncan jumped up and thrust his fists into the commissioner's gut three times and out it popped. Ransom said it was a terrifying experience. Duncan's visit was part of his tour of every county in the state. Duncan, a Democrat, announced his bid for governor last week.
