An knifeman slashed a man's throat at a busy London tube station shouting 'this is for Syria' before being Tasered by the police. The suspect attacked the man at Leytonstone underground station shortly after 7pm. Eyewitnesses claimed the man shouted 'this is for Syria' and 'all of your blood will be spilled' during the terrifying attack.

Four men were arrested in Luton today on suspicion of terrorism offences in a raid orchestrated by national anti-terror police. Scotland Yard announced that the men, who are in their 30s, were being questioned in London over claims they were 'involved in the commission, preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism'. Officers searched seven houses in the Bedfordshire town as well as a number of cars in the area following dawn raids at 6am.

Around 70 firefighters in 10 fire engines are battling the blaze at the Baitul Futuh Mosque in London Road. People attending for prayers were evacuated from the building after the ground and first floors were hit.
