Caitlyn Jenner is speaking out against President Donald Trump’s decision to revoke federal guidelines protecting transgender students in public schools. The trans E! reality star, 67, who backed Trump in the election, published a series of videos and posts on social media on Thursday, February 23, slamming the former Apprentice host for backtracking on the promises he made. “Well @realDonaldTrump, from one Republican to another, this is a disaster. You made a promise to protect the LGBTQ community. Call me,” Jenner tweeted. In an Instagram video, the former Olympic athlete, who famously announced she was transitioning from Bruce to Caitlyn...

Trump was also considering General Mills, Cap'n Crunch. Donald Trump praised Kellogg's service, saying he's "terrrrific." The Left is furious that Trump is considering chiefly military men, slandering them as "cereal killers." Gen. Foods was not considered for the position, since it was known he would not be willing to leave his Post.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer called on McCain to apologize for his comments. "The life of chief Ryan Owens was done in service to his country and we owe him and his family a great debt for the information we received during that raid. Any suggestion otherwise is a disservice to his courageous life and the actions he took. Full stop," Spicer said. The senator rejected a call Wednesday from White House press secretary Sean Spicer to apologize for his remarks. "I don't need to listen to that. My record speaks for itself," he said.

In a tizzy after Betsy DeVos was confirmed as President Trump’s Sec. of Education, liberals on Twitter started considering the merits of homeschooling for the first time. The irony of invoking the freedom to choose where their kids go to school as a way to protest a pro-school choice Sec. of Education seemed lost on them. {..snip..}

Los Angeles — Liberals used to hate secession, the notion that states could leave the Union as they did before the Civil War because they didn’t agree with the policies of the federal government. But with Donald Trump’s election, many California liberals suddenly have warm words for a budding ballot initiative that has just begun collecting signatures in order to place secession, or “Calexit,” on the ballot. At the height of the tea-party movement, Texas governor Rick Perry merely hinted at the thought that Texas might react to President Obama’s executive overreach by reclaiming its one-time status as an independent...

A juvenile thought to be involved in the robbery of a pizza delivery man in Penn Township will be charged as an adult, according to an affidavit. Sheldon Isaiah Cheese, 17, of York, is one of two people allegedly involved in the incident. He and Logan Matthew Alexander, 18, of Littlestown, allegedly robbed the man on Jan. 24 as he was delivering pizzas to them, according to the affidavit filed with District Judge James Miner. Alexander is a senior at Delone Catholic High School, which was confirmed by Delone Catholic Principal Maureen Thiec. A member of the basketball team, he...

The head of the NAACP warned Thursday that his group will "resist" if President Donald Trump goes forward with his "major investigation" into voter fraud. The President claims without providing evidence that 3 to 5 million people voted illegally in the 2016 US election, although this belief has been widely debunked.

NEW YORK (AP) - Shia LaBeouf wants you to know: “He will not divide us.” For the first few days of Donald Trump’s presidency, the actor has been repeating that sentence into a live camera mounted on a wall outside a New York City museum, usually with a backdrop of everyday New Yorkers chanting and singing along. The livestream from outside the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens is for a participatory public art project LaBeouf and two collaborators intend to have running for the duration of Trump’s presidency. The camera went live the morning of the inauguration, along...

In a practice that’s almost become routine, President-elect Donald Trump has fired back at NBC and “Saturday Night Live” after this weekend’s episode that parodied his Wednesday press conference. “.@NBCNews is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC. Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Really bad television!,” Trump tweeted on Sunday afternoon. Donald J. Trump ✔ @realDonaldTrump. @NBCNews is bad but Saturday Night Live is the worst of NBC. Not funny, cast is terrible, always a complete hit job. Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said it's unlikely that he will ever seek public office again, including the presidency, and said he wants to return to private life and his business career. Bush made the remarks while teaching a two-week course on governors at Texas A&M University. He said he is focused on his work to reform education and on his businesses, which he rejoined after his failed presidential bid concluded in February after the South Carolina Primary. "I unraveled everything I was doing to prepare for this - you don't do that lightly," Bush said. "I just think this...

Former Democratic presidential nominee Michael Dukakis said in an interview Friday that President-elect Donald Trump needs to get off Twitter and apologize to Hillary Clinton. "I mean he ought to be ashamed of himself for this kind of stuff, calling her a crook and that kind of nonsense. She's a good person, nothing she did involved breaches of national security," Dukakis said in an interview on WABC radio with Rita Cosby. "She was investigated for God knows how long about Libya, and a Republican-dominated committee exonerated her." Dukakis went on to say that Trump needed to change his behavior and...

It sounds like a story lifted from the pages of a spy novel. U.S. intelligence officials have concluded that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin led a cyberespionage scheme designed to help Donald Trump win the presidential election. What's even worse is that Putin's plan worked and Trump now seems to be siding with Russia against U.S. intelligence agencies. It's hard to know how to respond to this because it is unprecedented. But it is essential to take whatever action is necessary to make this right, as difficult, complicated and even uncomfortable as that may be. The hard reality is that the...

Video shows one rodent waiting for coast to be all clear before pouncing on candy and scurrying away. A group of squirrels is driving the owners of one Toronto convenience store nuts, after the rodents have been caught on video stealing chocolate bars from their east-end shop. “I always see them sneaking outside the door, looking in my store, and even right at me!” said Paul Kim, owner of Luke’s Grocery near Gerrard St. E. and Logan Ave. “They come in and take Crunchies, Crispy Crunch, Wonderbar . . . ” And those who are really bold “try to take...

This is a stunning, scary, sad time for America. In January, we will live in a world where Donald Trump is President, and right-wing majorities control both the Senate and the House. It hurts to think about it. In the coming days, many people will be scrambling to respond (and deciding whether or not to move to Canada.) There are a lot of unknowns. But here are some truths we know now. First, the Democratic Party must go through a reckoning. Donald Trump won the Rust Belt by stoking the economic and social anxiety that so many people feel in...

Feeling the Bern, Hillary? Does Hillary really need to get more than 270 electoral votes to win? She might, if two Democrat electors follow through on their threat not to give her their electoral college votes - even if she wins their state in a landslide. And guess what… They’re both from Washington state, and they’re both former Bernie Sanders supporters. Could it be that Hillary’s internal DNC corruption is coming home to roost?

Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign chairman John Podesta said it was a major understatement when an important Clinton Foundation figure described Chelsea Clinton as “not smart,” a newly-leaked email reveals. The 2012 email is from the latest batch of leaked communications put out by the online hacktivist group Wikileaks. In the email, Podesta responds to Doug Band, a former Bill Clinton assistant who helped found the Clinton Global Initiative. Band was irate because Chelsea had apparently launched an internal investigation of the Clinton Foundation’s finances, and then told one of former President George W. Bush’s twin daughters about it. The...
