President Obama is the worst president since World War II, according to a Quinnipiac poll released Wednesday. The poll finds that 33 percent of voters say Obama is the worst since the war, with George W. Bush trailing in second place at 28 percent. The only other president in double digits, at 13 percent, is Richard Nixon, who resigned from office after the Watergate scandal. I watched The Five discuss the preview of Megyn Kelly’s upcoming Bill Ayers interview. Bob Beckel is still claiming that Obama didn’t know Ayers – “met him once” – and the other four supposedly conservative journalists had nothing to contradict him with! Every reader of AT knows that Ayers and Obama worked together - that Ayers hired Obama for the biggest job of his life before becoming President – handing out $100 million dollars of the Annenberg Challenge grants to radical causes, instead of using it to help Chicago’s schoolchildren.

As unlikely as it may seem, we have learned over the years (the last few in particular) that there are indeed some lawmakers who are mind-blowingly stupid. There are also those who have been in Congress for so long that diapers may be in order, if they are not utilizing them already. Some I believe are simply intellectually indolent and don’t keep themselves informed. It’s just a job to them – a job they can become quite wealthy doing but don’t feel compelled to do particularly well.

At Monday's White House Summit on Working Families, first lady Michelle Obama admitted to a few of her own struggles as a working mother while making the case for flexible workplace policies for families.
