VIDEO Sleepy Joe Biden was struggling to stay awake during his meeting with the President of the Dominican Republican. However, there was something that the Dominican President said that momentarily aroused Joe from his normal lethargy.

WASHINGTON (AP) — Doris Cochran, a disabled mother of two young boys, is stockpiling canned foods these days, filling her shelves with noodle soup, green beans, peaches and pears — anything that can last for months or even years. Her pantry looks as though she’s preparing for a winter storm. But she’s just trying to make sure her family won’t go hungry if her food stamps run out.For those like Cochran who rely on federal aid programs, the social safety net no longer feels so safe.

Politico reporter Mike Elk is the notoriously lethargic "labor" reporter at Politico, best known for his quote for the ages when the 28 year old of distinctly non-Stakhovonite inclinations complained that “I can’t work the kind of hours I did when I was 24.” To get an idea of the "overwork" poor Mike is subjected to, take a look at his Politico work schedule which yields a grand total of five articles in five months. Yes, that one article per month work schedule is driving him to despair and he has taken to Facebook...

Charles Krauthammer tonight slammed President Barack Obama’s response to a question about Russia at this evening’s news conference. While Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel today said a Russian invasion of Ukraine is possible, Krauthammer said Obama showed “extraordinary lethargy, distance, disinterest” on the topic. Krauthammer said Obama basically told reporters that if Russia invades, the U.S. will look at its policy.
