With the situation in the Ukraine escalating and the US continuing to call for sanctions against RussiaÂ’s financial and political elite, Vladimir Putin is now not only mobilizing tens of thousands of troops on his Western front, but sending intercontinental strategic bombers across the Pacific Ocean. According to the US military, itÂ’s the first time since the cold war that RussiaÂ’s incursions have come this close to America. WhatÂ’s even more alarming is that Russia is making it clear that any attack on the Motherland would likely lead to widespread bombardment of western interests. Nuclear capable Russian bombers have been...

Police on Wednesday night served 25 search warrants at LAX in connection with the theft of passenger property by airport workers, officials said. Workers are accused of stealing luggage and other items in terminals and on the tarmac, authorities said. Police from both the LAPD and airport officers converged for the raids at the airport and locations across south Los Angeles County. LAX Assistant Police Chief Michael Hyams would not name the contractor involved. Most of the action at the airport took place at Terminal 4 and the Tom Bradley International terminal. Other locations included Inglewood and Paramount.

Wednesday night at the Oakland International Airport, a flight had to make an emergency evacuation at the gate after it safely landed because of smoke in the plane. The video was shot by Linton Johnson, a passenger onboard the Delta connection Flight 4454, which was operated by SkyWest. Johnson said on his Facebook page that the plane's cabin filled with smoke and that the flight attendants yelled at passengers to exit the plane. The video shows a chaotic scene. The Oakland Fire Department told ABC7 News they responded to the gate for a red alert.

On Nov. 22, with the national media focused on the 50th anniversary of former President John F. Kennedy's death, few noticed the story of a jury in North Carolina convicting Crystal Mangum of murder in the 2011 kitchen stabbing death of her boyfriend Reginald Daye. Why should that fact fixate the national media? On its own, it shouldn't. But in 2006 and 2007, Mangum's false charges of rape against three Duke University lacrosse players caused a national tsunami of media sensation, an angry wave of prejudiced coverage presuming the guilt of rich white college boys when being accused by an...

- An airport security officer lay helplessly bleeding after a gunman opened fire at Los Angeles International Airport as paramedics waited 150 yards away because police had not declared the terminal safe to enter, according to two law enforcement officials. It would be 33 minutes before Transportation Security Administration Officer Gerardo Hernandez, who was about 20 feet from an exit, would be wheeled out by police to an ambulance, said the officials, who were briefed on the investigation and spoke on condition of anonymity because the probe was still ongoing into the Nov. 1 shooting. For all but five of those minutes,...

When criminals with a long history of burglary are caught in the act, the AP is very careful to call them "alleged" burglars. When a gun owner is spotted by a hoplophobe and denounced to the local authorities, the "alleged" adjective is nowhere to be seen. "Man pulls out unloaded gun, causes panic at LAX" In spite of ambiguity in the police report: Airport police Sgt. Karla Ortiz said the man either took out the gun or a gun carrying case around 9 p.m. Friday.the headline leaves no doubt about the illegitimacy of the act of being a gun owner. ...

It has been long argued by freedom-loving Americans that anti-gun groups from around the nation actively strive for civilian disarmament that disproportionately effects the law-abiding, and a recent statement from the Moms Demand Action group provides evidence that this argument is pretty accurate. On November 1st, Moms Demand Action (the gift that keeps on giving the whole year) posted an official statement about the shooting at Los Angeles International Airport. Of course, the statement calls on Congress to enact more laws to supposedly “fix” the problem of gun crime and implement a full ban on so-called “assault weapons” for civilians,...

“Black, white, yellow, brown, I don’t discriminate,” the note read, according to a paraphrase by a law enforcement official briefed on the investigation. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak publicly. The suspect’s screed also mentioned “fiat currency” and “NWO,” possible references to the New World Order, a conspiracy theory that foresees a totalitarian one-world government. By all accounts, Ciancia was reserved and solitary. Former classmates barely remember him and even a recent roommate could say little about the young man who moved from New Jersey to Los Angeles less than two...

It's all in the title, but worth considering that the attack on the TSA and the supposed 'note written by the shooter' stating he wanted to "Kill the TSA" is all a false flag for the purpose of starting a movement to arm the TSA agents. The King is always looking to grow his 'Civilian National Security Force' and the TSA is well over 50,000 strong. We know probably over half of them couldn't even qualify to carry a firearm due to their shady pasts, but don't be surprised if calls to arm the TSA get stronger over the next...

In that report, Jones found that Transportation Security Administration (TSA) checkpoint screeners are receiving training to prepare them for the possibility of a mass shooting at one of the agency’s airport checkpoints, and those TSA personnel are being instructed to “save themselves” should a shooting occur. One TSA worker told Jones, “Every day when I arrive for work, I look for an escape route in case someone opens fire. We have been told to save ourselves.”

Back in January, an oddly prescient investigative report revealed that should a shooting occur at one of the nation’s airports – such as happened in Los Angeles Friday – Transportation Security Administration screeners were being trained to first “save themselves.” Writing in the Washington Times, Alan Jones reported a veteran TSA agent disclosed he had recently undergone agency training during which TSA personnel were confronted with a checkpoint shooting. The training reportedly changed the agent’s workday habits. “Every day when I arrive for work, I look for an escape route in case someone opens fire,” said the TSA worker. “We...

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A TSA agent was killed and several other people were injured Friday in a shooting at Los Angeles International Airport, police said. CBS News’ John Miller said the gunman, who was outfitted in camouflage, entered Terminal 3 at 9:20 a.m. and opened fire. Preliminary information suggests he was targeting TSA employees, according to Miller. The suspect pulled an assault rifle — possibly an AR-15 — out of his bag, started shooting and proceeded to the TSA screening area, where he was able to gain access to the airport itself, according to Chief Patrick Gannon of Los...
