Clicked on the tube the other day and a news reporter was in the middle of talking about this “caring, giving” person who was just this side of Mother Theresa and I’m wondering, “Who was this paragon of virtue???” And it turned out it was this TSA agent.
It’s a sad thing indeed that the agent was killed, but the media have insanely overreacted. As usual.

Was there ever clarification if he WAS a former agent? Any information on motive or background (supposedly google searches didn’t provide any digital footprint).

You got that right. It does seem to give Obama voters something to do when they are not molesting white people at the airport, though.
