“Bad vibes.” “Scary.” “Tense.” “Physical.” “New level of menace.” “Vicious.” Those are the words used by reporters who covered the New Orleans campaign rally by leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump Friday evening to describe the leftist anti-Trump protesters who disrupted the rally and the reactions of fed-up Trump supporters. There was even a report that Trump’s campaign manger was personally escorting protesters out of the rally.

Thirteen states hold primaries or caucuses over the next two weeks. Of them, Trump is leading polls in nine, according to the RealClearPolitics average, including some of the most important, winner-take-all states. The other states — Hawaii, Maine, Idaho, and Missouri — don't have any recent polls listed on the site. They're also the three states with the fewest delegates to award. And in Maine, Trump has the endorsement of Gov. Paul LePage.

The Supreme Court has overturned an appeals court order allowing a pro-life law to go into effect in Louisiana that has already closed abortion clinics unable to provide for women’s health. Earlier this month, a federal appeals court overturned a block a federal judge put in place to stop a new law from taking effect that may close three of the four abortion clinics operating in the Bayou State. Now, the Supreme Court has versed that ruling. As ABC News reports: The justices effectively reversed an order by the federal appeals court in New Orleans that allowed Louisiana to begin...

The sample for the survey was randomly selected from all active registered Republicans in the state. The respondent sample of 1,874 yields a 2.26% margin of error at a 95% level of confidence. The sample matches the gender, age, race, and regional parameters from the voter file obtained from the Louisiana Secretary of State.

The New York Times greets people at newsstands today with huge headlines, usual reserved for wars and other historic events. "Romney ... Trump ... Nation in peril." And, yet, before the ink is even dry, the Romney-led #NeverTrump movement is visibly a flop. And the Romney speech is a non-story. A. RNC Chairman Priebus: The rules of the nominating process are “no different today than 100 years ago. Which is you have a process. And whatever candidate gets a majority of the delegates is going to get the support of the party. That’s how it works,” Reince Priebus said on...

  • Another Republican Candidate To DROP OUT Of Presidential Race!?!

But Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) appears to be ready to drop a bombshell! With no explaination, Rubio abruptly cancelled rallies in Louisiana and Kentucky. Now, political insiders are speculating that Rubio is ready to get out of this race and perhaps throw his support behind fellow Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). As a major Kentucky newspaper noted, the Rubio campaign isn’t giving details on why a rally was cancelled: One day after winning only one of 11 GOP Super Tuesday primaries, Marco Rubio has canceled planned appearances in Kentucky and Louisiana. Tyler Glick, a spokesman for Anne Northrup, Rubio’s campaign chairwoman...

At a far lower decibel range than most of Super Tuesday's primary battles, a former New Orleans congressman made an announcement few would find surprising. Joseph Cao is running for the U.S. Senate. Cao's official entrance into the race dovetails neatly with the sentiments of a private holiday email he sent to family and friends in December. "Sen. (David) Vitter will not be running for re-election, so this is a great opportunity to have a Vietnamese-American/Asian-American voice in the U.S. Senate," Cao wrote.

Trump needs to win 1,237 delegates to secure the Republican nomination, and with four other candidates vying for the same, University of New Orleans political scientist Edward Chervenak said the state's primary is particularly important this year. “With Cruz, Rubio, Carson and Kasich still in the race, they’re basically taking delegates away from (Trump). So every delegate now counts and is at stake. That’s why Trump is coming here, because he wants to do well in Louisiana,” Chervenak said. Breitbart News previously reported that it began with Higgins in uniform, flanked by myriad other armed and uniformed law enforcement officers and leaders from the black community. Higgins looked into the camera and said those identified with the Gremlins "are responsible for hundreds of violent crimes: murders, armed robberies, witness intimidation, burglaries, drug trafficking, extortion, and brutal beatings." He told viewers that the St. Landry Parrish Sheriff's Office had "arrested ten of these thugs" and made clear that they had "warrants on seven more." Higgins listed the seven wanted individuals–referring to them as "animals" - and warned they are "most...

An abortion clinic in Louisiana is stopping abortions because it can't comply with a pro-life law protecting women's health that requires abortion practitioners to have admitting privileges at a local hospital in case women are seriously injured in a botched abortion. As LifeNews reported, a federal appeals court has overturned a block a federal judge put in place to stop a new law from taking effect that may close three of the four abortion clinics operating in the Bayou State. Earlier this month, a Louisiana judge sided with abortion advocates and ruled against a state law that would ensure abortion...

Six states filed a new lawsuit Wednesday against the Obama administration over the Affordable Care Act. The complaint that Texas, Wisconsin, Kansas, Louisiana, Indiana and Nebraska filed in the Northern District of Texas takes issue with the Health Insurance Providers Fee assessed to health insurers to cover federal subsidies. The lawsuit says nothing in the Affordable Care Act's language provided clear notice that states would also have to pay the fee. ...

(Reuters) - A U.S. appeals court on Wednesday allowed Louisiana to enforce a restrictive 2014 abortion law critics say is aimed at shutting clinics, ending a halt to the measure handed out by a lower court judge earlier this year. The Louisiana-based U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit granted a request from the state to put into effect the law requiring physicians who perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles (48 km) of the place where the abortion is performed. "We reversed the district court and permitted the law to go into effect...
