A disturbing flyer began circulating through some neighborhoods in Eunice this weekend. The flyer showcases the phone numbers for two KKK groups, calling themselves the White Knights. The flyer states, "the law abiding citizens in your community can sleep in peace knowing the klan is awake." The flyers were distributed to the homes of African-American residents over the weekend, according to KATC-TV. A number of years ago I came across a good image of the above Slave's Friend abolitionist pamphlet.   It was published sometime between 1836 and 1860, most likely in the earlier years.    Freeper Ruy Dias de Bivar was kind enough to send me the image above, which is from MAN AT ARMS, published by the NRA, August, 1997, page 12. The Wikipedia entry on Margaret Sanger crack us up.  It states, in pertinent part, the following: In 1926, Sanger gave a lecture on birth control to the women's auxiliary of the Ku Klux Klan in Silver Lake, New Jersey.[37] ...
