Former federal prosecutor Joe diGenova appears on WMAL radio for a discussion of the joint house committee issuing subpoenas for Loretta Lynch, James Comey and Sally Yates. diGenova brings up a good point, what happens if they just simply refuse to comply? Answer: Nothing. From diGenova’s perspective it’s chaff and countermeasures. In this interview a fired-up diGenova strongly lambasts Bob Goodlatte, Trey Gowdy, Paul Ryan and Kevin McCarthy for enabling a highly political Rod Rosenstein and Robert Mueller to cover-up the institutional corruption within the DOJ and FBI.

As Nancy Pelosi wrangles votes in her bid for House speaker, another leadership battle is playing out on the Republican side, where Kevin McCarthy faces a challenge from conservative Freedom Caucus co-founder Jim Jordan to lead the new GOP minority. "I think the odds are 2 out of 3 she'll be speaker," he said of Pelosi, who is House minority leader. "And 1 out of 3 Kevin McCarthy will be," he continued. Democrats need to flip two dozens seats in the House during the Nov. 6 midterm elections...

Democrats running for re-election in the 2018 midterms are being advised to not speak about the issue of immigration as consultants admit the zero-enforcement, open borders positions of the Democrat Party are unpopular with swing voters. In a memo obtained by the New York Times, left-wing consultants with the Center for American Progress and the think tank, Third Way, advised Democrats running for election to spend “as little time as possible” talking about the immigration issue facing the nation, where more than 1.5 million immigrants are admitted to the country every year. The New York Times reported: “Sanctuary attacks pack...

Left-leaning groups are advising Democratic candidates in the November midterm elections to steer clear from discussing immigration in states and districts that President Trump won in 2016. A strategy memo co-authored by the Center for American Progress and Third Way -- two Washington-based think tanks -- recommended that certain Democrats speak about the topic as little as possible and instead focus on topics that will better resonate with their voters. Navin Nayak, executive director of the Center for American Progress Action, said that even though the memo was sent to a broad set of districts, it excluded ones with large...

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-Ark.) told nationally-syndicated radio talk show host Hugh Hewitt on Tuesday that Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-New York) and his "political operation" was behind the leaking of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford "from the very beginning." @@ SEN. TOM COTTON (R-ARKANSAS): Hugh, I believe the Schumer political operation was behind this from the very beginning. We learned last week that a woman named Monica McLean was Ms. Ford’s roommate, and she was one of the so-called beach friends who encouraged Ms. Ford to go to Dianne Feinstein and the partisan Democrats on the Judiciary Committee. Well, it just turns...

Maybe there are three dividends that Republicans are reaping from their victory over liberals during the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court fight. The base is jacked up for the midterms, we confirmed Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, giving conservatives a SCOTUS majority for the next generation, and it allowed the House GOP leadership to get some chutzpah on fighting illegal immigration. Yes, you read that, right? We’ve demanded a wall, going after sanctuary cities, securing the border, and enforcing current federal immigration laws. Now, Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) pretty much promised full legislative offensive against illegal immigration (via CBS News): House...

Rep. Last week, millions of Californians performed their civic duty by voting in primary elections. If these Americans did their homework in the days before the elections, they might have encountered a disturbing piece of fake news: Google search results listed the ideology of the California Republican Party as “Nazism.” This reprehensible smear was an insult to millions of California Republicans, living and dead — especially those who, like Richard Nixon and Ronald Reagan, worked to free the world from totalitarianism during World War II and the Cold War. But this incident was not merely an insult. It was the latest...
