John Mark Karr, 42, is charged with battery and obstruction of a 911 call, Lt. Keith Zgonc of the Sandy Springs police said. Karr was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, last year in connection with the 1996 slaying of the 6-year-old beauty queen. San Francisco police say they stopped a limo carrying John Karr after the one-time JonBenet Ramsey suspect was spotted wandering near a school and peering in a window! The AP reported this weekend: Police say the received a call from the Convent of the Sacred Heart school, where Karr worked briefly as a teacher's aide in 2000. Boulder County officials spent at least $29,726 in costs related to the arrest, extradition and court appearance of John Mark Karr, the former suspect in the death of JonBenet Ramsey. The Boulder District Attorney's office said it spent $23,656 investigating Karr.
