Here is video of Sean Hannity tonight talking to John Gibson about his new book, "How the Left Swiftboated America." The book focuses on the demonization of President George W. Bush by the Left as well as their investment in defeat in the War in Iraq. Gibson said they used this demonizing of Bush and the Iraq War to regain power, and that President Obama is the one who did the best job of it, resulting in his victory. . . (VIDEO)

[photo of scrotum] A Baltimore television reporter been fired for creating the infamous John Gibson “bright blue scrotum” video. In the doctored video, comments Gibson made on Fox News about an escaped monkey were cut together with completely unrelated comments he made about U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. WBAL-TV, an NBC affiliate, admitted that one of its former employee had posted the video on YouTube without its knowledge. Other media outlets revealed that the WBAL reporter responsible for the doctored video had been fired. This seems unfair to us. What color is the attorney general’s scrotum? Do we know for...

In the continuing saga of "bright blue scrotum"-gate, the person who was responsible for posting the doctored video to YouTube has been fired. The news was first reported by FTVLive. John Sanders, who was interviewed about the clip Friday by Breitbart.tv's B-Cast, was a correspondent for WBAL-TV in Baltimore. WBAL-TV released this statement today: "WBAL-TV management has learned that a former WBAL-TV employee posted a video regarding Fox News' John Gibson and Attorney General Eric Holder on his personal YouTube page without the prior knowledge or consent of anyone at WBAL-TV or Hearst-Argyle Television. This video was not approved by,...

WBAL-TV has fired a reporter who inserted a graphic phrase in a video for a prank — only to have the doctored version surface on Web sites nationwide. Wanda Draper, director of public affairs for the NBC affiliate, confirmed Tuesday afternoon that technology reporter John Sanders no longer is employed by the station. According to accounts published on the Internet, Sanders admitted inserting a graphic phrase into a video to make it appear that John Gibson of Fox News was denigrating U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder. In the faked video, which appeared first on YouTube and later on The Huffington...

A reporter for an NBC affiliate in Baltimore who inserted a racist remark into a video clip of FOX News' John Gibson and posted it on YouTube is no longer employed by the station, FOXNews.com has learned. The offensive video clip was doctored so that the viewer heard Gibson using the words "bright blue scrotum" in reference to Attorney General Eric Holder, rather than to a defining characteristic of a monkey on the loose in Seattle. The video circulated rapidly on blogs and news Web sites Thursday and was not corrected for hours.

<p>Bill Maher wants to lynch stockbrokers “with their balls in their mouths.” Fox News’ John Gibson should consider himself lucky, because the Huffington Post only wants to put words in his mouth.</p>
<p>Yesterday, the unabashedly lefty website ran a doctored video that combined two completely different stories and made it appear that Gibson had cast racial slurs at new Attorney General Eric Holder.</p>

This is a tale that should serve as a cautionary one to all that inhabit the Internet. It's all about the instant outrage, the ginned up hatred, the immediate immolation, that one sees so often infesting the left in our fair country. It shows how unhinged many there are. It started on the Huffington Post on February 19, when poster Alex Leo found what he thought was a video of John Gibson of Fox News saying that new Attorney General Eric Holder was like a monkey with a "bright blue scrotum." In reality, though, what Huffposter Leo found was a...

A headline at Huffington Post blares: John Gibson Compares Eric Holder To Monkey With Bright Blue Scrotum (VIDEO). Writer Alex Leo lays it all out: At the end of a long and pointless conversation between two Fox News reporters covering a zoo escape, John Gibson compared Attorney General Eric Holder to a monkey.... At 2:48, they toss to John Gibson who complains that he can't get away with saying "bright blue scrotum" on the radio then follows that up by saying, "We were talking about Eric Holder today on the radio and his bright blue scrotum." --snip-- There's only one...

Bill O'Reilly’s leaving syndicated radio, and Fox sees the opening for a new noon-3pm show featuring Fox News Channel personality John Gibson. Fox News EVP Kevin Magee says “we are confident that our affiliates will find Gibson on Fox as a strong alternative to [O'Reilly’s] Radio Factor.” O'Reilly wants to concentrate on his cable TV and other media opportunities and is leaving his Westwood radio show soon, after nearly seven years in syndication.

Former Fannie Mae CEO Jim Johnson STILL advising Obama, Further this was reported by e-mail from Tom Daschle to Democrat insiders to see updates daily on political progress from the campaign, by Tom Daschel and Jim Johnson. Gibson also reported today that Franklin Raines was still advising Obama on housing! As you all well know that Jim Johnson was in charge of Fannie Mae with Franklin Raines. They also were paid very well with Johnson getting in excess of 20 million dollars and Franklin Raines getting 90 million dollars in executive pay.

Democrats' Silencing Is Deafening Friday, September 19, 2008 By John Gibson It looks to me like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac — the twin $1 trillion disasters — were the creation of congressional Democrats and a Democrat White House. So where are the Democrats? Why no news conferences explaining themselves? Barney Frank — who who insisted Fannie and Freddie had to buy loans made to the unqualified — has had nothing substantial to say, though he did wisecrack yesterday in a Hi-Ho Silver voice: The "loan arranger" is on the way. He was referring to the administration riding in to...

Freddie and Fannie used huge lobbying budgets and political contributions to keep regulators off their backs. A group called the Center for Responsive Politics keeps track of which politicians get Fannie and Freddie political contributions. The top three U.S. senators getting big Fannie and Freddie political bucks were Democrats and No. 2 is Sen. Barack Obama. Now remember, he's only been in the Senate four years, but he still managed to grab the No. 2 spot ahead of John Kerry — decades in the Senate — and Chris Dodd, who is chairman of the Senate Banking Committee. Fannie and Freddie...

John Gibson, the longtime host of “The Big Story,” will continue to have a role on television, the network said, although it appears that his future for now lies mostly on radio

Fox News Channel, tinkering for the first time in eight years with its popular early evening lineup, is replacing its 5 p.m. news broadcast, “The Big Story,” with an election-theme program for the foreseeable future. The network confirmed this week that “America’s Election HQ,” a program that displaced “The Big Story” temporarily last month, would continue indefinitely.

This is reprehensible! Fox News Talk Network host John Gibson announced the sad and tragic death of actor Heath Ledger on Tuesday by mocking him and making light of his untimely passing. Disgusting! We've been on this creep's show before and we will boycott his show in the future, unless he issues an apology. Here's a rundown of what happened: "Playing an audio clip of the iconic quote, 'I wish I knew how to quit you' from Ledger’s gay romance movie Brokeback Mountain, Gibson disdainfully quipped, 'Well, he found out how to quit you.' Laughing, Gibson then played another clip...

Bring Mika The Head of John Gibson By Mark Finkelstein | January 24, 2008 - 10:29 ET The woman who got her big break on network TV thanks to the firing of Don Imus apparently now wants another host to lose his job over some tasteless remarks. Morning Joe is the show that took over MSNBC's early-morning time slot after Imus was bounced for his offensive observations about the Rutgers women's basketball team. Mika Brzezinski, a regular member of the Morning Joe crew, has now left little doubt that she would like to see John Gibson fired for his callous...

Fox News's John Gibson does an awesome job at tearing them apart. If you haven't heard the audio from his show yet... you should definitely take a listen. Quoting Gibson: This thing about Rush is really crystal clear. You can see how they lie. In this case, they said Rush said something, posted an audio recording of it and an audio transcript and cut it off at the precise moment where the next thing he said proved them wrong. Heres how it went down. I'll play this bit and you can hear what Media Matters posted of what Rush said...

With the announcement of Karl Rove resigning his position from the White House, it is time to revisit that infamous report by MSNBC's David Shuster who on Keith Olbermann's Countdown show on May 8, 2006 flatly stated: I am convinced that Karl Rove will, in fact, be indicted. When a month later it was announced that Rove would not be indicted, a sheepish Shuster came up with several lame excuses for his monumental misreporting as chronicled by NewsBusters editor Brent Baker in his June 13, 2006 post. Under questioning by Countdown substitute host, Brian Unger, Shuster began by blaming the...

I Stand by My Comment That If Democrats Win, the Insurgents Win Wednesday, October 25, 2006 By John Gibson E-mailers are hammering me today for saying something provocative yesterday. I said: "If Democrats who hate Bush and who hate the war in Iraq win, the insurgents win. I'm sorry, but it's true. America will set a date to get out and jihad will have carried the day." I'll repeat: Sorry, but it's true. Democrats like John Kerry and John Murtha want a date to get out, and they are going to be difficult to deny if the Dems win. It...

After having a substitute host all week, John Gibson returned to The Big Story today and started off his show by laughing incredulously at Jane Harmon who was trying to argue that Al Qaida in Iraq was only a small part of the insurgency and that the insurgents weren't in a position to know whether their situation was bleak or not. It was absolutely classic. I didn't see if Gibson had a smart-ass smirk but just the audio alone was awesome, particularly when he let out the giggle. I really like Gibby and it's things like this bring a smile...

At 5:45 PM Eastern / 2:45 PM Pacific, Fox News Channel's "The Big Story w/ John Gibson" will report on the developing story involving more than $1,000,000 in contributions from the Bin Laden family to ex-President Jimmy Carter. The revelations came about following an investigation by Melanie Morgan and the Censure Carter Committee - a project of the pro-troop organization, Move America Forward. These developments are in addition to tens of millions of dollars in funding from Arab governments who are appreciative of Carter's anti-Israeli stance and Carter's opposition to U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East including opposing...

On Monday, Boston College will have its commencement and graduates will gather to hear an address from Dr. Condoleezza Rice, the United States secretary of state. She is arguably the highest-ranking African-American woman in the three centuries or so that African women have been present in America. She is the secretary of state of the most powerful nation on earth. She is discussed regularly as a candidate to be president of the United States. Yet 200 or so students at Boston College, along with some professors, will be protesting her presence at Boston College, protesting especially the school conferring upon...

The Washington Post did a snap poll Thursday night to determine if Americans are upset about the president and the National Security Agency keeping a data bank of our phone records — what number was used to call what other number. The short story: Americans are overwhelming OK with it. But The Post was asking the wrong question. In this case, it also needs to be asked: Are you OK with someone at the NSA leaking this information to reporters? Are you OK with secret methods being used to try to catch Al Qaeda being revealed not only to the...

The protests failed. They turned out fewer people than the big demonstration of late March. By the standards of that day — and the ambitions of the organizers — there should have been five million people on the streets Monday. Instead there were one million. That means 90 percent of illegals in this country did not protest. They either went to work — which is why they are here in the first place — or they took the day off and stayed home. Why would they stay home? Because they get it. They understand that asking the majority of this...

John Gibson bashed CNN and targeted Larry King and Jack Cafferty on his radio show yesterday afternoon. (Johnny Dollar has the audio.) Here are some highlights: "Over there on CNN, it wasn't enough to attack Cheney, they had to attack us! The typical political venue for those who somebody who wants to go and give their side of the story and not be challenged in the least is Larry King. Cheney did not avail himself of that venue. He went to Brit Hume. Now, whatever you think about Fox, Brit's no chump..." Gibson said Hume got Cheney "in trouble" with...

by James K. Fitzpatrick Other Articles by James K. Fitzpatrick Christmas in the Rear-View Mirror 01/12/06 There are times when the rear-view mirror provides important information that we would otherwise miss. Now that we are a few weeks away from Christmas, it should be possible to look back in a more dispassionate and objective manner at the “war on Christmas” that became a hot topic late last year. This issue is no different from any other: we can let our emotions get the best of us and lead us to rash conclusions. I am not saying there was no reason for...

Did anyone just see John Gibson tear into the guest named "Rob" who was appearing on behalf of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. The guy called Gibson a liar and Gibson went OFF. More than O'Reilly ever has. I mean Gibson smoked this guy. The other guy's name was Gary and he was on Gibson's side..but Gibson kept saying "Pipe down Gary!" I'm taking care of this! Gibson told Rob that he was the one who was going to be sued if he couldn't back up his charges. Rob claimed that Gibson's new book "The war...

One of the more egregious anti-Christmas examples in the war on Christmas is the school district in Plano, Texas, which banned the colors red and green last year. I say this all the time in promoting my book, "The War on Christmas." I did a chapter on the Plano situation in the book and looked into this incident in some detail. The ban on red and green had to do with the paper plates, napkins and cups which parents bring to the holiday party at the winter break, which used to be the kids' Christmas party at Christmas break, but,...

An interesting exercise in the hidden power of Christmas last week ... A Catholic priest was giving the invocation before the lighting of the town Christmas tree and he dropped the "J bomb." That's right, the priest had the audacity to mention — cover your ears, kiddies — Jesus Christ. That caused an immediate ruckus. A city councilman took over the microphone and insisted the tree lighting was not a Christmas tree but a holiday tree and there was to be no religion in the observance of the lighting of the holiday tree. Within hours the councilman ate his words...

THE WAR ON CHRISTMAS By John Gibson Sentinel, $24.95, 186 pages This is a book about the First Amendment, specifically where its two provisions about church and state intersect. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." John Gibson's point is that in its zeal to secularize every aspect of public life, the American Civil Liberties Union has focused on the former at the expense of the latter. This effort has, every year for about three decades, taken the form of a war on Christmas. "The wagers... are a cabal of secularists,...

Tension Over Christmas Observance Begins By RICHARD N. OSTLING, AP Religion Writer 28 minutes ago It's weeks before Thanksgiving but already interest groups are preparing for an intense year of conflict over Christmas observances by cities and public schools, with one conservative group lining up hundreds of attorneys to work on the issue. Communities and courts have long fielded protests against municipal creche displays and school Nativity pageants, based on strict views of church-state separation and sensitivity toward religious minorities. In recent years, however, local disputes have extended — to carol singing, wordless instrumental music, Christmas trees and decorations, classroom...

Yes, Virginia, there is a war on Christmas. It’s the secularization of America’s favorite holiday and the ever-stronger push toward a neutered "holiday" season so that non-Christians won’t be even the slightest bit offended. Traditionalists get upset when they’re told—more and more these days—that celebrating Christmas in any public way is a violation of church and state separation. That is certainly not what the founders intended when they wrote, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof." John Gibson, a popular anchor for the Fox News Channel, has been digging up evidence...

I just love John Gibson of FOX NEWS, he gets right to the issue. He just got through cutting off some IDIOT ACLU Lawyer and saying their Lawsuit about ABU GARAB is going to kill more Americans. He exposes the ACLU for what they are, the Pure Anti Americans that they are.

During an interview this afternon on The Big Story with John Gibson, Congressman Curt Weldon reiterated his scathing criticisms of the Pentagon and the 9/11 Commission. A transcript of the interview follows below.

I hope lots of you were watching...John Gibson just blasted Code Pink for their protests that they hold outside Walter Reed specifically. He said that the should be called "Code No Class" and quoted a soldier that he talked to on the Tony Snow radio show this morning who equated them with the IEDs in Iraq. Called them the American equivalent of the Iraqi Insurgent IEDs. Did anyone else hear him? He's my new hero.

I'm like a lot of my e-mailers: I think this business about the "Able Danger" (search) unit at the Pentagon — the people who had their eye on Mohammad Atta (search) way before 9/11 — is now going to come home to roost with the 9/11 commission itself. The reason is simple. One of the 9/11 commissioners should have been in the witness chair during the entire hearings. She was Jamie Gorelick (search), who was in the Justice Department making up the rules before 9/11. She was the one who ruled that the spies and military analysts couldn't tell the...

The Ambassador Strikes Back, Answers to the Right Wing Spin Machine *** A BRAD BLOG EXCLUSIVE *** Ambassador Joseph Wilson fired back today at the Rightwing Spin Machine, which, having been issued marching orders late yesterday in a set of talking points from the RNC, is once again hoping to distract from the potentially treasonous crimes that George W. Bush’s top political operative and Deputy Chief of Staff, Karl Rove is being alleged to have committed. In a phone discussion early this afternoon, Wilson told The BRAD BLOG in no uncertain terms that "the President should fire Rove." He told...

I say give Karl Rove (search) a medal, even if Bush has to fire him. Why? Because Valerie Plame (search) should have been outed by somebody. And if nobody else had the cojones to do it, I'm glad Rove did — if he did do it, and he still says he didn't. Why should she have been outed? Well despite her husband's repeated denials, even in the face of a pile of evidence and conclusions from a Senate investigation, it appears all evidence points to Joe Wilson's wife, spy Valerie Plame, as the one who recommended him for the job...

The bombings in London: This is why I thought the Brits should let the French have the Olympics... .snip.. But, all Thursday proved is that they come to get you anyway. And, by the way, they come and get their own too: If we can believe that this was an Al Qaeda (search) attack in London — and it probably was — you have to ask if it was a coincidence that on the same day, July 7, the Al Qaeda folks in Iraq executed the Egyptian ambassador to Iraq, whom they kidnapped a couple days ago. .snip.. So, Thursday...

Did you hear I made the Canadians mad at me again? In honor of Canada Day, July 1, I was asked by Maclean's magazine, one of Canada's brightest lights, to write a few words on the state of Canada's relations with the U.S. It came out on Friday. I said the relations stunk because we had figured out how anti-American Canadians had become over the last few years. The quote from me they put on the cover of the magazine was, "Canada is a vast ice-encrusted wasteland dedicated to beer and America bashing." As you probably could figure out, that...
