The New York City venue hosting an individual who attempted to assassinate former President Ronald Reagan says that the attempted assassin "didn't f---" as many lives as the Reagan administration did. John Hinckley Jr., who shot Reagan in 1981, announced he would be performing at the Market Hotel in New York City on July 8. He was found not guilty by reason of insanity. He was 25 when he attempted the assassination, which injured two others and paralyzed Reagan's press secretary, James Brady.

Former FBI Director James Comey refused to carry a gun when he was with the FBI. It is likely he never carried a gun during his career. He grew up in Yonkers, New York. He obtained his Batchelors of Science at the College of William and Mary in Virginia, well before Virginia passed a shall issue concealed carry law. NEW YORK A two-day effort by liberal bloggers to find, and publicize, numerous examples of plagiarism committed by new Washington Post blogger Ben Domenech culminated today in calls that he give up his new position--from some of his conservative supporters. Sarah Kemp Brady, the widow of former White House Press Secretary James Brady, died Friday after battling pneumonia, her family said in a statement. She was 73. Sarah Brady became a prominent gun control advocate after her husband was shot during the attempt on then-President Ronald Reagan's life in 1981. James Brady died in August at age 73.

Wonders of wonders, the Washington Post finally but somewhat unobtrusively turned back on their blog. No doubt after getting "tons of emails" about it. But from what Jim Brady said and the recent turning on the blog back on doesn't make any sense.
