Syrian refugees will continue to relocate in Indiana despite the governor’s order to close the borders until new security measures are in place. Exodus Immigration, the largest relocation agency in the state, believes that the governor does not have the authority to stop the immigration of Syrian refugees. It has plans to relocate 20 or so Syrian refugees to Indiana in the coming months and it is going ahead with those plans.

As millions of Americans prepare to travel for the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, the State Department warned that potential attackers could target private or government interests. "Authorities believe the likelihood of terror attacks will continue as members of (Islamic State) return from Syria and Iraq," it said. "Additionally, there is a continuing threat from unaffiliated persons planning attacks inspired by major terrorist organizations but conducted on an individual basis."

Switzerland has active criminal proceedings against 33 individuals over suspected ties to extremist Islamist groups, but only three people are currently in custody, the attorney general's office said on Sunday. 'Isis cell operating out of Winterthur mosque' (18 Nov 15) Iraqi jailed for posting Isis propaganda online (13 Nov 15) Switzerland extradites French teen jihadist (22 May 15) Some of those cases have been opened in the last two to three months, but the most serious involves a cell of possible Islamist radicals uncovered in the Canton of Schaffhausen last year, said Andry Marty, a spokesman for Swiss Attorney General Michael Lauber.  ...

Dallas, TX Mayor Mike Rawlings spoke Saturday on MSNBC, saying that ISIS wants the United States to "demonize" the Syrian refugees, the reason being that ISIS does not represent Islam. "ISIS wants us to demonize these Syrian refugees, want us to alienate these children," Rawlings said. "We have got to build a coalition of Middle Eastern states and we need to reach out, they're Muslims and we have got to use the words carefully to show them that we care about them. ISIS is no more Islamic than the Nazi senior staff was Christian. so we have got to differentiate...

Ted Cruz on Friday put a bit of distance between himself and arguably his closest ally in the presidential race: Donald Trump. Kicking off a two-day swing through Iowa, the U.S. senator from Texas was asked about Trump's apparent openness Thursday to a national registry of American Muslims in the wake of the recent Paris terrorist attacks. "I'm a big fan of Donald Trump's, but not a fan of government registries of American citizens," Cruz told reporters before a town hall at Briar Cliff University. The "First Amendment protects religious liberty." Asked Thursday by NBC News if he wanted to...

Obama and Hillary's disastrous Libyan war almost led to Mali being taken over by Jihadists. It took French intervention to save Mali, but it dragged Americans and Europeans into Mali to coordinate anti-terror activities and it appears that they were the targets of an attack on a luxury hotel. Muslim Supremacist gunmen shouting "Allahu Akbar" meaning Allah is greater than your gods took 170 hostages. They did however free those who could recite the Koran. ... Some people were freed by the attackers after showing they could recite verses from the Koran, while others were brought out by security forces...

The bombing of a Russian passenger jet over the Sinai was most probably the end result of a stealth jihad operation. That might seem like a strange way of putting it, because we usually think of stealth jihad as something that radical Muslims do to subvert non-Muslim societies. Yet, unless there were already a stealth network in place, its unlikely that an ISIS operative would have been able to get by security and place a bomb on board the Russian plane. Although ISIS has taken credit for the bombing, they probably did so with the help of another group -...

Restricts entry of refugees from countries with active terrorist presence WASHINGTON, D.C. — U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) today introduced the Terrorist Refugee Infiltration Prevention Act of 2015, which will immediately bar refugees to the United States from any country, such as Iraq or Syria, that contains territory substantially controlled by a foreign terrorist organization. The bill sunsets after three years so that Congress can reevaluate the global situation and either let the bill expire or reauthorize it with necessary modifications in light of changed circumstances. Upon introduction of the bill, Sen. Cruz stated, “After watching the horrific scenes play out...

Tegucigalpa (AFP) - Honduran authorities have arrested five Syrians intending to make it to the United States with stolen Greek passports, triggering alarm Wednesday in the wake of the Paris attacks launched by Syria-linked jihadists. The Syrians were arrested on Tuesday as they flew into Toncontin airport serving the Honduran capital and failed to make it past airport security checks, a police spokesman, Anibal Baca, told reporters. "Five Syrian citizens have been detained and will be taken to our offices to be investigated because it is suspected they are carrying false documents, passports stolen in Greece," Baca said. They had...

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) uses a 34-page manual to instruct its followers on how to stay invisible on the Internet. The Arabic document was translated and released this week by analysts at the Combating Terrorism Center, an independent research group at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. It includes warnings to avoid Instagram because it is owned by Facebook, and Dropbox because former secretary of State Condoleezza Rice sits on its board of investors. Famous government leaker Edward Snowden has also criticized Dropbox over its privacy, the document notes. Users are also directed to use...

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says the United States has "absolutely no choice" but to close down mosques where "some bad things are happening." "Nobody wants to say this and nobody wants to shut down religious institutions or anything, but you know, you understand it," Trump said on Fox News's "Hannity" on Tuesday. "A lot of people understand it. We're going to have no choice." Trump said on Monday he would "strongly consider" closing mosques if elected in response to the terrorist attacks in France last Friday that killed at least 129 people and injured hundreds more. Pressed to explain...

Republican senators Ted Cruz and Jeff Sessions rebuked the Obama administration Tuesday for failing to share with Congress the immigration history of 72 people with terrorist associations living in the U.S. The senators bashed Attorney General Loretta Lynch, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson and Secretary of State John Kerry for not providing the individuals' personal and family immigration information, which was requested Aug. 12 and expected by Sept. 4. "More than three months later the administration has not provided immigration details on a single one of the 72. It is quite telling that this administration — which seems to have...

The Paris terror attacks may have put a clamp on President Obama's plans to resettle 10,000 Syrian refugees over the next year, as the number of governors saying they won't take them swells. At the same time, top congressional lawmakers are urging the administration to halt the plan. House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Michael McCaul called on Obama to "temporarily suspend the admission of all additional Syrian refugees" pending a "full review," according to a letter obtained by Fox News. The resistance at the state level is coalescing at a rapid clip. So far, governors in at least 17 states...
