At the National Prayer Breakfast, President Obama reminded attendees that violence rooted in religion isn’t exclusive to Islam, but has been carried out by Christians as well. ~snip~ “Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ,” Obama said. “In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ.”

I was so much hoping to get a Q&A lined up with Rep. Jeff Leach of Plano on the subject of Sharia Law in Texas. He’s got a bill that would prohibit family court rulings based on foreign legal codes if that violated our own constitutional protections. These kinds of bills and state constitutional amendments have popped in several states and have been adopted in a bunch. They’re widely accepted as trying to keep the Islamic legal code at bay. A story in the Houston Chronicle mentioned Leach’s bill in its coverage of the anti-Muslim furor at the Capitol last...

... The Muslim population in the UK numbers 3.5 million. A large percentage can trace their roots back to a rural region of Pakistan controlled Kashmir and Sylhet in Bangladesh. They arrived uneducated and with a very narrow, insular strand of Islam and settled in the North of England or inner city London. In comparison the Indian community who settled in Britain were middle class and possessed a strong entrepreneurial background as well as placing a high priority on education. Many were expelled from Uganda by Idi Amin. After 50 years in the UK the Indian community continues to thrive...

Muslim imports in Minneapolis are now demanding a tax-funded “halal” non-pork food shelf at a free food pantry for the poor. As if it’s not bad enough that nearly all the “American” Muslims who have joined ISIS have been Somalis from Minneapolis, their relatives here are demanding that Americans adhere to the same Sharia Laws the Islamic State fighters are trying to impose throughout the Middle East.

We would like to take this opportunity to separate fact from fiction: There was never a Muslim prayer – or a prayer of any specific religion at the Stock Show this year. Because the Stock Show is an annual community event that attracts many visitors from around the world, country and state each year, last spring, we established a faith-based committee consisting of a wide range of local clergy. We based our decision on and selected our participants from the Mayor’s Faith Cabinet Directory. We invited each participant to provide a one-minute prayer to include the safety of the contestants,...

Up to 10,000 Syrian refugees, most of them Muslims, will be resettled in cities throughout the U.S. in 2015, with that figure expected to surge to near 75,000 over the next five years. While some of the planned destinations for these refugees are starting to leak out, the big question is: where will they be going? The U.S. State Department does not announce where it plans to send foreign refugees for resettlement within the United States, although the locations do eventually show up in a government database some weeks after they arrive in their host cities. Word of their anticipated...

An Islamic Tribunal using Sharia law in Texas has been confirmed by Breitbart Texas. The tribunal is operating as a non-profit organization in Dallas. One of the attorneys for the tribunal said participation and acceptance of the tribunal’s decisions are “voluntary.” Breitbart Texas spoke with one of the “judges,” Dr. Taher El-badawi. He said the tribunal operates under Sharia law as a form of “non-binding dispute resolution.” El-badawi said their organization is “a tribunal, not arbitration.” A tribunal is defined by Meriam-Webster’s Dictionary as “a court or forum of justice.” The four Islamic attorneys call themselves “judges” not “arbitrators.” El-badawi...

A commentator for American Thinker is calling on supporters to contact campus officials to protest the fact that a Muslim call to prayer is being broadcast on the campus of UCLA – a “publicly funded institution.” “This in an act of Islamic supremacism,” writes Carol Brown. “If Muslim students at UCLA can’t figure out how to tell time or keep track of when they need to pray, that’s their problem.” Her column provides online links for a long list of UCLA officials, including President Janet Napolitano and many more, specifically including contacts for a list of corporate donors to the...

This week, O'Reilly Factor correspondent Jesse Watters traveled to Garland, Texas, in an attempt to attend the 'Defend the Prophet' conference. A meeting of various Muslim groups, the conference was marked by a cloak of secrecy as the selected press entities allowed in were only permitted to cover it for only a short time. Watters and his team were not allowed in. "They revoked my ticket as I landed in Dallas," Watters later told host Bill O'Reilly. Outside the convention center, Watters spoke with an organizer about his rescinded press credential.

Gov. Bobby Jindal continued to claim Muslim "no-go zones" exist in Europe Monday, even as British political leaders and American media outlets issued statements reputing such statements. snip "When I heard this, I frankly choked on my porridge and I thought it must be April Fools Day," said Cameron, about the existence of "no-go zones" in England.

Army commanders Order Removal Of 'God and Country' Recruiting Sign January 18, 2015 An Army recruiting station has been ordered by higher ups to shelve a sidewalk sandwich board with the wording "On a mission for both God and country.” The order went out Friday to a recruiting station in Phoenix that had been displaying the outdoor sign since at least October. The sign board also shows an image of a Special Forces patch and Ranger, Airborne and Special Forces tabs. An inquiry from Army Times to the U.S. Army Recruiting Command prompted the sandwich board’s immediate removal.

The double standard laid bare. If you’re a devout believer of whichever faith and eager to see less blasphemy in the media, as many Americans are, there’s no other conclusion to draw here than, “I need to be much, much angrier.†The image of the prophet Mohammed, however, seems to occupy its own category, with its own rules. Last week, Baquet told me via email that as editor of the Times he had to consider “the Muslim family in Brooklyn who read us and is offended by any depiction of what he sees as his prophet.†[sic] When I...

As the Islamic invasion advances, mosques are proliferating across the United States at breakneck speed. And there appears to be no end in sight. Since 9/11, the number of mosques in America has grown by 75%. The timing of this is no coincidence. Mosques are a symbol of Islamic supremacism. Islam attacks. Then it plants a triumphal mosque on the battlefield. And another. And another. And another. The proliferation of mosques is also a sign of our incomprehensible response (or lack thereof) to the threat of Islam. War has been waged against the United States and what have we done?...

The two “ghost ships” discovered sailing towards the Italian coast last week with hundreds of migrants – but no crew – on board are just the latest symptom of what experts consider to be the world’s largest wave of mass-migration since the end of the second world war. Wars in Syria, Libya and Iraq, severe repression in Eritrea, and spiralling instability across much of the Arab world have all contributed to the displacement of around 16.7 million refugees worldwide. A further 33.3 million people are “internally displaced” within their own war-torn countries, forcing many of those originally from the Middle...

A remarkable report by Anne Barnard of the New York Times this weekend confirms my multiple reports here at PJ Media about the increased alliance between the U.S.-backed Free Syrian Army (FSA) and al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate, Jabhat al-Nusra.As Barnard reports: In northern and eastern Syria, where Mr. Assad’s opponents won early victories and once dreamed of building self-government, the nationalist rebel groups calling themselves the Free Syrian Army are forced to operate under the extremists’ umbrellas, to go underground or to flee, according to Syrian insurgents, activists and two top commanders of the American-financed F.S.A. groups. Two weeks ago...

Another life lesson from the religion of peace. A trio of well wishers were telling passersby “Merry Christmas” in Cologne, Germany, when they happened on a Muslim man accompanying two Muslim women. The man took offense at the greeting and proceeded to attack one of the men with a knife, stabbing him multiple times in the back and neck. Considering the attack took place on Christmas Eve, the Muslim man was probably out searching for a patsy, looking to be offended just enough so that he could carry out his cowardly attack and then claim himself as a victim of...
