In Germany, following a wave of Islamic immigration, one political party is considering a call for shutting down all of the country’s mosques in a desperate bid to prevent terrorist attacks, rape sprees and other acts of violence and Muslim domination. In the U.S., President Obama marked the new year by visiting a mosque and has invested a great deal of effort to downplay the connection between Islam and terrorism, while leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has proposed temporarily halting all Muslim immigration. A growing chorus of U.S. politicians, pundits and scholars are calling for closer monitoring of U.S....

Angola reportedly bans Islam, destroys mosques This is extraordinarily strange news, given that the world is racing in the other direction, to accommodate and appease Islam. It will be interesting to see, if these reports turn out to be accurate, how the mainstream media and Islamic supremacist groups will find a way to accuse the Angolans of "racism." In any case, clearly this is a national security issue, with Islamic supremacists and jihadists wreaking havoc in Nigeria and spreading elsewhere in Sub-Saharan Africa. There is no way in Angola any more than there is anywhere else to distinguish jihadis in...

LONDON, England (AFP) - Yusuf Islam, the British singer known as Cat Stevens before his conversion to Islam, added to the criticism of Pope Benedict XVI's recent remarks about the religion. Islam, known for his 1970s hits including "Father And Son" and "Wild World," said that the pope quoting from a medieval text which attacks some of the Prophet Mohammed's teachings as "evil and inhuman" showed the pontiff was not infallible. Roman Catholic theology says that the pope cannot err in teachings on faith or morals. In an interview with BBC television, Islam said that he went to a Catholic...

During his second hour today, Medved was discussing the Danish cartoons with a columnist. A caller toward the end of the hour, said that his daughter was told not to bring her Piglet lunchbox to school because it might offend Muslims. I had heard about this Piglet ban in Britain but didn't think it had reached our shores yet (if this man's account is true). Didn't catch where he was from--maybe some other listener did. If this account is true and it were my son/daughter I would send them back to school with the offending lunch box filled with a...
