As if the President Obama’s sweeping amnesty measures haven’t compromised national security enough, the administration let 1,519 “inadmissible” foreigners embroiled in terrorism into the U.S. last year because the crimes were committed “while under duress.” Before the Obama administration tweaked a federal law last year, these foreign nationals would have been banned from the country for supporting terrorist causes. But under the changes the Secretary of Homeland Security has “discretionary authority” to waive certain grounds of inadmissibility relating to terrorism. We’ve seen this discretionary authority abused in the last few years and in fact, the administration has eliminated a zero...

Is Carly Fiorina a liberal chameleon wearing conservative colors? And if she is, will it give Clinton what she needs to win the White House? Carly Fiorina, candidate for the Republican party’s nomination for president, has enjoyed quite a bounce in the polls since the most recent Republican debate. Ironically, however, Fiorina’s policy positions more closely mimic those of Democrats than those of Republicans. Fiorina will not be able to draw a distinct line between her and the Democrat candidate, which will lead to a repeat of 2008 and 2012 when millions of conservatives chose not to vote and a...

Pope Francis says bridges are better than walls when it comes to dealing with conflicts between nations, especially regarding Europe’s migrant crisis. The Pope spent 45 minutes speaking with the international media aboard the American Airlines flight that carried him back to Rome after his historic visit to Cuba and the United States, and answered a series of questions on everything from women’s ordination to religious freedom.

Canadian party leaders have clashed over the refugee crisis and the fight against Islamic State (IS), in the election campaign's fourth TV debate. New Democratic Party (NDP) leader Tom Mulcair said he would withdraw from the bombing campaign against IS. But Prime Minister Stephen Harper defended Canada's combat role, saying IS would slaughter 'millions'. Liberal leader Justin Trudeau said Canada should stick to peacekeeping and urged Mr. Harper to take more refugees. The prime minister's governing Conservative Party had pledged to bring 10,000 Syrian refugees to Canada in the next 12 months, plus another 10,000 over four years..... Canadians cast...

Sophie Cruz's encounter with the pope during a parade in Washington this week looked to be one of those spontaneous, once-in-a-lifetime-moments Francis has become known for. But for 5-year-old Sophie, the chance to wrap her arm around the pope's neck as he offered a hug, kiss and a blessing unfolded as perfectly as it was scripted by members of a coalition of Los Angeles-based immigration rights groups. For nearly a year the group had been preparing the young girl from suburban Los Angeles to make a dash for the popemobile to deliver a message about the plight of immigrant parents...

A senior Republican official is urging Kentucky Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) to resign from his job as the Republican leader of the Senate. “Mitch is a good and honorable guy, but the base is leaving our party,” Roger Villere, the chairman of the Louisiana GOP... “I’ve worked for 12 years as chairman to build this party, and I just don’t want to see it all go down the drain because the [leaders] aren’t willing to fight for what we believe… Our base is demanding we do something or they’re going to leave us,” said Villare, who also holds a position...

Christian migrants in German asylum centres are living under persistent threat, with many fearing for their lives as the hardline Sunni majority within the migrant population attempts to enforce Sharia law in their new host nation. The situation is so bad that Christians claim they live like “prisoners” in Germany, and some have even returned to Middle East. “In Iran, the Revolutionary Guards have arrested my brother in a house church. I fled the Iranian intelligence, because I thought in Germany I can finally live freely according to my religion,” says Said, a Christian who fled persecution in his native...

Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump slammed Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) as a “clown” during his address at today’s Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. At Trump’s mention of Rubio, the audience immediately started booing and then fell into a hushed silence as Trump recounted Rubio’s involvement in the amnesty effort. “You have this clown Marco Rubio,” Trump said, “He was in favor of immigration… It was the Gang of Eight. You remember the Gang of Eight. It was terrible,” Trump said. Trump said Rubio continues to support all of the same immigration expansionist policies laid out in amnesty bill he...

Asians will beat Hispanics to become America’s largest immigrant population by 2055, according to a Pew Research Center report released Monday. The study estimated the United States' immigrant population by 2065 and noted that the turning point comes in 2055 when 36 percent of the migrants will be from Asia. Migrants are estimated to account for 88 percent of the increase in the American population between 2015 and 2065, the report stated. Currently, 14 percent of the population comprises immigrants compared to 5 percent in 1965. "Without the immigrants, the U.S. population would start decreasing," said Pew demographer Jeff Passel,...

Angela Merkel’s big heart and generous nature have earned her high praise in some circles for her handling of the initial phases of the European migrant crisis. Unfortunately this has resulted in a flood of new guests in her country, filling up not only refugee camps, but invading nearby towns and raising all manner of concerns among the locals. And while the initial offer of relief was geared toward providing relief for those fleeing the violence in Syria, the majority of the newcomers turned out to not be from that region at all. Reporters caught up with one pair...

They told me if I voted for Mitt Romney the immigration problem would become worse. I had no idea how right they would prove to be.To set up your Saturday evening on a high note, some terrific news out of the southwest. We’ve clearly been in need of some creative solutions for what to do about illegal immigrants and we’re also very worried about problems arising from the mentally ill and our seeming inability to protect everyone, including the protecting the mentally ill from themselves. Now, at last, someone has come up with a project which is designed to...

If Western countries want to disprove the dire forecasts of Karl Marx, we must think creatively about how to make the middle class more prosperous and secure Go back, for a moment, nearly 30 years. In March 1987, Margaret Thatcher visited Mikhail Gorbachev, the reforming leader of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, in Moscow. Sitting in the Kremlin, the two argued for hours. At one point, Mr. Gorbachev accused Mrs. Thatcher of leading the party of the “haves” and of fooling the people about who really controlled the levers of power. The Iron Lady had an answer: “I...

Hundreds of immigrants with mental disabilities who were deported from the U.S. after representing themselves in court may be allowed to return to the country under a settlement approved by a judge Friday. [Snip] Under the agreement, the federal government said it will help those with reopened cases return to the U.S. and pay for some transportation costs. The settlement comes after an April 2013 injunction that found immigrants with serious mental disabilities have a right to an attorney if they're found mentally incompetent to represent themselves.

Former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum vowed Friday to pursue immigration policies that protect American workers, while warning voters that some of his GOP rivals have embraced a much softer approach to the issue. Mr. Santorum, the runner-up in the 2012 Republican nomination battle, urged the crowd that converged on a hotel in Washington, D.C., for the annual Values Voter Summit to recognize that a couple of the speakers before him — Sens. Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz — have previously supported “amnesty” for illegal immigrants. “You have a lot of people that come up here and talk about how tough...

You should know by now the Left is trying to destroy America but what is the overall plan of their attack? This plan's foundation is rooted in the targeted depopulation of American citizens or rather future American citizens. This is the reason behind the Left's overzealous support for abortion. With a smaller, weakened citizenry, the Left has a greater chance of exerting its will. Unchecked illegal immigration further dilutes the influence of the citizenry whether they are granted citizenship or not because their understanding of citizenship will trend away from self-rule. The goal is to destroy Americans' belief in their...

Pope Francis's address to Congress may have voters on both sides of the aisle seriously considering supporting Donald Trump’s immigration plan. The pope stated that we must "not be taken aback by the numbers" of illegals he calls "refugees" invading our country. Rather, we must apply the Golden Rule to the 11-30 million people openly defying our nation's rule of law. Unfortunately, Francis's "do unto others" dictum does not apply to cash-strapped lower- and middle-income Americans. He says we must see the “refugees†as “persons … seeing their faces and listening to their stories,†but he exhibits no such...

As you know by now, the newest Pope has hit the bricks in the US. Already, illegal alien supporters have staged a "spontaneous" event using a little girl that has been planned for a year. WASHINGTON (AP) -- Sophie Cruz's brief encounter with Pope Francis during his parade in Washington this week appeared to be the kind of spontaneous moment that is so endearing about this pope: an initially hesitant young child wrapping an arm around his neck as he offers a kiss and a blessing. But for 5-year-old Sophie, the moment unfolded as perfectly as it was scripted by...
