A Guatemalan man was arrested after he allegedly sexually assaulted a child under the age of 16 several times in Woodbury, New Jersey in 2014 and 2015. The abuse was first reported to a Woodbury school teacher and an investigation was launched, according to officials. Juan Campos-Morales, 33, was then arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a child. He is being held in the Salem County Jail on default of $250,000 bail. Federal immigration authorities say Campos-Morales is a Guatemalan native who they believe was living in the United States illegally.

ELLIS COUNTY (CBS11) - Undocumented minors are finding temporary shelter in Ellis County. About 50 teens arrived Friday afternoon, the first of hundreds expected to stay at the Lakeview Camp and Conference Center over the next three weeks. Organizers say the teens were checked in, assigned rooms and given dinner. "They have an indoor pool up in there. It's awesome! It's a really great place. It's actually perfect for them. It's just not perfect for us," said Scott Bailey, who lives about three miles from the property....

Based on the surprising discovery of one Border Patrol officer, it's safe to say human smugglers are getting more cunning by the day. Breitbart Texas reports that Agent Hector Garza, president of the National Border Patrol Council, Local 2455, became suspicious of a Chevy Tahoe that was traveling north of Laredo, Texas—roughly 70 miles into the Lone Star State. The vehicle was painted to look like a Border Patrol SUV. After pulling the car over, the driver was arrested and the agent discovered 12 illegal aliens in the back. Garza said the 12 illegal aliens stuffed in a Tahoe shows...

Here’s an interesting factoid: as the rich get richer and the poor get poorer the middle class is simply going “pouf.” That’s right, the middle class is disappearing down the rabbit hole that is Obama’s Amerika. The nation's middle class, long a pillar of the U.S. economy and foundation of the American dream, has shrunk to the point where it no longer constitutes the majority of the adult population, according to a new major study. LA Times Well how did that happen? Let’s see; First you begin by passing new rules and regulations (e.g. ObamaKare and the Dodd-Frank Wall Street...

I just finished reading Eli Stokols and Marc Caputo dispiriting report about the Jeb Bush campaign and how many staffers and top level donors – even those still committed to the former Florida governor – recognize the campaign is in a death spiral. I genuinely don’t want to believe that. Counterintuitively, I still believe there is a possibility Bush can pull out of this tailspin. And even if he doesn’t, there’s really no shame in remaining committed to a man who did great things for Florida and is, especially since the terrorist attacks in Paris, the most sober-minded presidential candidate....

No-go zones — elitist media and politicians claim they don’t exist. But they’d better tell that to Da’esh (ISIS), which, in a recently uncovered manifesto, brags that it has been using Western refugee programs to sneak terrorists into Europe with the aim of creating no-go zones. Perhaps even better described as Sharia-dominant mini-caliphates, Da’esh’s intent is to use the areas as bases from which to launch attacks such as the November 13 Paris massacre and the jihadist killings in San Bernardino yesterday

Five young Middle Eastern men were apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol this week in an Arizona town situated about 30 miles from the Mexican border, law enforcement and other sources told Judicial Watch. Border Patrol agents spotted the men crossing a ranch property in the vicinity of Amado, which is located about 35 miles south of Tucson and has a population of 275. Two of the Middle Eastern men were carrying stainless steel cylinders in backpacks, JW's sources say, alarming Border Patrol officials enough to call the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for backup. A multitude of federal agents...

Billionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump has not faded in the fall, as Republican professionals hoped, but has his biggest lead yet and support from more than a third of GOP voters, according to a CNN/ORC poll released just 58 days before the Iowa presidential caucuses. Trump has 36 percent support, 9 percent higher than he had in October more than double the 16 percent backing for ultraconservative Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, his closest competitor. In particular, Trump is a runaway choice of GOP voters surveyed who do not have college degrees, his support rising above 40 percent. Ben Carson...

They connect via online services — especially Twitter — and in everyday life. Their ages range from 15 to 47, and their roles range from cheering attacks to plotting violence. And curbing their growth is a dynamic challenge without a simple solution: There are currently 900 active investigations into ISIS sympathizers in every American state. Those are some of the findings of a new study that glimpses life "inside the bubble of American ISIS sympathizers, a diverse and diffuse scene that the FBI estimates include hundreds, if not thousands, of individuals." Titled "ISIS in America: From Retweets to Raqqa," the...

The best part is when she asks the obvious follow-up -- is a path to legalization "amnesty"? -- and he won't even make eye contact. There's a spectrum of answers to this question on the right, of course: 1. Amnesty is citizenship without preconditions. That's the strictest definition, and naturally the one preferred by Beltway Republicans like Marco Rubio in his Gang of Eight days. (Marco Rubio circa 2010 had a different view.) As long as you're forcing illegals to jump through some sort of hoop, be it learning English, paying back taxes, going to the back of the line,...

Most Americans agree with Donald Trump -- the illegal aliens have to go. Head 'em up, move 'em out. A new Fox News poll shows 52 percent of the nation favors deporting the millions of illegals back to their home countries. Republicans and Democrats support Mr. Trump’s plan. But the numbers among Republicans are astronomical. Seventy percent agree with Mr. Trump -- a super-majority. So why does the Republican establishment continue to support pro-amnesty candidates? Jeb Bush accused Mr. Trump of preying on people's deep-seated fears. “This whole idea of preying on people’s deep-seated fears of what the future looks...

The Southwest border has broken open in recent weeks, with non-Mexicans — and illegal immigrant children in particular — crossing at a record rate in October, according to Border Patrol statistics that suggest the administration’s victory lap earlier this year was premature.Nearly 5,000 unaccompanied children were caught in October, and nearly 3,000 more had been caught in the first half of November — a record pace for those months — and it signals just how closely smuggling cartels and would-be illegal immigrants themselves are paying attention to lax enforcement in the U.S.Worse yet, the increases are borderwide, with every one...

Presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% drew his sharpest distinction yet with donor-class favorite Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% last Friday by releasing an in-depth, pro-American immigration plan. The new plan helps Cruz counter what he says is Rubio’s “blazingly, on-its-face false” argument that both Senators share similar positions on immigration. Last week, Cruz attacked Rubio for joining Chuck Schumer and Barack Obama in fighting “tooth and nail to try to jam… amnesty down the throats of the American people.” Following the criticism, Rubio told reporters that Cruz “proposed legalizing people that were here illegally. He proposed giving them work permits....

During a speech about immigrationin Chicago last November, President Obama was interrupted by hecklers demanding that he stop deporting illegal aliens."You're absolutely right that there have been significant numbers of deportations,"Obama replied. "But what you're not paying attention to is the fact that I just took action to change the law."That went over well with the audience, which applauded as Obama explained that he had bypassed Congress and directed federal agencies to grant legal status to more than four million illegal immigrants living in the United States. It didn't go over nearly so well with Texas and 25 other states,...

As the Republican presidential primary heats up, illegal immigration is again taking center stage. While this is nothing new (as we know President Reagan attempted to address it in the ’80s, John McCain made it a priority in ’08, and on), the discussion has taken an interesting turn this election cycle. At issue, of course, are Obama’s executive amnesty, the recent influx of illegal immigrants (including huge numbers of children), the vast number of illegals currently living and working in the U.S., border security (such as it is), and a host of related issues including the burden of illegal immigration...

A former deputy director of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) says the U.S. strategy toward the Islamic State in Syria (ISIS) “is not working.” Michael Morell said recent attacks by the terrorist group in Paris and on a Russian passenger plane show it’s time for the U.S. to reconsider its strategy. “I think it’s now crystal clear to us that our strategy, our policy vis-à-vis ISIS is not working, and it’s time to look at something else,” Morell said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday. He said the U.S. may need to rethink its opposition to Syrian President Bashar...

Two of the suicide bombers who caused carnage in the Paris massacre are thought to have sneaked into France by posing as refugees from Syria. The disclosure, which came amid claims of French intelligence failures, inevitably raised new security concerns about Europe’s borders. Police said the two men, who arrived in Greece last month, were among seven attackers, one as young as 15. One of the attackers was last night named by French media as Mostefai Ismaël Omar, 29, from Courcouronnes, in Essonne. Serbian media last night reported that one of the terrorists was named as Ahmed Almuhamed. The newspaper,...

How much higher can Donald Trump’s popularity rise? Trump has leaped ahead 17 percentage points among likely Republican voters since Nov. 6, when he was tied with Ben Carson at 25 percent. Despite what many saw as a poor-spirited attack on Carson about the retired surgeon’s “pathological temper,” Trump continues to surge ahead in the polls. “The Republican establishment has long expected the outspoken billionaire to fade,” suggested Yahoo News, “and he has yet to give it the satisfaction. Trump has consistently held more than 25 percent of the support among all Republicans in the Reuters/Ipsos rolling poll for more...

This is really interesting. If you look at the deportation stats when Bill Clinton was in office, it really is true that he deported well over 10 million people. If you do not believe the stats then you can go to the link provided to the DHS where it is all broken down there. And it really does look like Obama will deport 3 million by the time he leaves. See "U.S. deportations of immigrants reach record high in 2013" at http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2014/10/02/u-s-deportations-of-immigrants-reach-record-high-in-2013/
