MARENGO, Ill. — Officials have identified the pilot killed in a small plane crash over the weekend. 63-year-old Robert Sherman of Poplar Grove, Illinois died when his homebuilt Zenair CH601 crashed into a cornfield near Meyer and Pleasant Grove Rd.
