My Hubby sent me this in email: Got an email from the Natl Repub Senate Comm. begging for money and supposedly authored by Mitch McWimpel In the fine print at the bottom it reads: This email was sent by: Romney for President Inc., 138 Conant St., 1st Floor, Beverly, MA 01915. So I decided to check it out. First I did a search on "Romney for President Inc., 138 Conant St., 1st Floor, Beverly, MA 01915." I found all sorts of strange things. This is on a lefty forum: Ted Cruz campaign@rickperry.org via smna.targetedvictory.com For Liberty,Ted CruzP.S. I'm proud to...

Cardinal George: US is adopting ‘official religion’ on homosexuality that is reminiscent of sharia Catholic World News - September 10, 2014 In an archdiocesan newspaper column, Cardinal Francis George of Chicago said that American law has “taken upon itself the mantle of a religion and officially told its citizens what they must personally think or what ‘values’ they must personalize in order to deserve to be part of the country.” He writes: Since the biblical vision of what it means to be human tells us that not every friendship or love can be expressed in sexual relations, the Church’s teaching...

I don’t think it’s an exaggeration to say that with regard to entertainment, conservatives and libertarians find science fiction and videogaming to be the most attractive options offered by pop culture these days, mainly because there’s a lot of SF that doesn’t try and stuff political correctness and half-baked socialist egalitarianism up our snouts. The same goes for videogames, which are mostly about killing bad guys and/or solving puzzles.

Homosexual activists in New York are pressing organizers of the St. Patrick's Day parade to include more gay-rights groups in the march. Following up on last week's announcement that Out@NBCUniversal would be allowed to enter the 2015 parade, a group called Irish Queers announced on September 9 that it was applying for a place in the parade. "We want to march up Fifth Avenue as an Irish diaspora that has finally joined Ireland in rejecting religion-fueled bigotry," said a spokesman.

On Saturday I sent the letter below to Archbishop Vigano with regard to the statment Cardinal Dolan of New York gave in support of a Gay Rights Group being included in the 2015 New York St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This parade is a Catholic event and I am disheartened to hear that Cardinal Dolan would support a position contrary to that of the church in this situation. September 6, 2014 H. E. Most Rev. Archbishop Carlo Vigano Apostolic Nuncio 3339 Massachusetts Avenue NW Washington, DC 20008 Your Excellency Archbishop Vigano: New York's Cardinal Dolan, appointed as Grand Marshal of the...

Well my goodness, it would seem that yet another “pastor” in yet another “Christian” church has found his 15 minutes of fame on the interwebs by intentionally whipping up theologically inaccurate, fear-based, power-hungry homophobia. Get a load of this little ditty as reported by Raw Story: "Brainerd Baptist Church Senior Pastor Robby Gallaty devoted his entire hour-long sermon on Sunday to justifying Christian opposition to the sexuality of LGBT people. "After spending about 20 minutes recounting the perils of homosexuality throughout history, Gallaty asserted that the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by God because of gay sex..."

Bit by bit Last week New York Cardinal Timothy Dolan gave his okay to the St. Patrick Day Parade Committee’s decision to allow a gay group to march in the 2015 parade under their own banner. This was a remarkable shift from one of Dolan’s predecessors Cardinal John O’Connor who in 1993 declared that to allow a gay group to march in the parade would be a slander to the Apostle’s Creed. This closes a remarkable summer in which a number of high-ranking Catholic prelates have signaled that Pope Francis’s more open posture on gay issues has permeated through the...

Though same-sex marriage is illegal in China Marriage is first high-profile same-sex marriage conducted by a foreign diplomatic mission in China Gay relationships are not illegal in China but homosexuals face widespread stigma A gay wedding at the British ambassador's residence in Beijing at the weekend has sparked outrage in China. Wearing matching slippers and bow ties, Brian Davidson, 55, Britain's consul-general in Shanghai, married his 33-year-old American boyfriend Scott Chang on the lawn of the home of Ambassador Sir Sebastian Wood. New rules mean that British nationals in homosexual relationships can marry in British consulates in 24 countries around...

Bill Donohue comments on a press conference held today on the steps of the New York Public Library: We had two staff members at the press conference, and what they reported is quite interesting. Three gay groups announced that they have applied to march in New York’s 2015 St. Patrick’s Day Parade: Irish Queers, Lavender and Green Alliance, and St. Pat’s for All. They are furious with parade officials for not including them, and they are particularly angry at NBC (the network that televises the parade) for securing the right of an NBC gay group, OUT@NBC, to march, but not...

A Republican Senate candidate in Oregon is bucking the GOP by embracing gay marriage in a new campaign ad. The ad, from the campaign of Dr. Monica Wehby who is challenging incumbent Democratic Sen. Jeff Merkley, prominently features a gay couple — Ben West, of Portland, who filed a lawsuit in 2013 with partner Paul Rummell to overturn Oregon’s same sex-marriage ban that went into effect in 2004. The majority of the Republican Party has opposed gay marriage, making Wehby a maverick in her party.

If there was reputable scientific evidence that some people were born homosexual, I would have no problem accepting this. After all, my theology tells me that as human beings, we are all created in God's image and yet we are a fallen race – and so all of us carry aspects of that fallen nature to the core of our being, and that could theoretically include homosexuality. But the fact is that there is simply no reputable scientific evidence that anyone is born gay. As stated by gay activist and history professor John D'Emilio, "'Born gay' is an idea with...

Several gay groups representing immigrants are planning a massive non-violent civil disobedience protest either in Washington or at border detention centers in a ramped-up bid to force President Obama to immediately stop deportations and grant amnesty to illegals. The plan is for “having a mass, very big civil disobedience action taking place,” said Luis Aguilera Garcia of GetEQUAL. He said it would happen “either in Washington or at detention centers,” but a date hasn’t been set. “It is going to escalate,” he told Secrets after several immigration protesters from the LGBT community and representatives from the AFL-CIO and National Education...

MADISON – Last Thursday, the Chicago-based Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Wisconsin’s 2006 voter-approved ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional. When looking back at the 2006 campaign, organized labor and other notable liberals donated their money to Fair Wisconsin which opposed the measure. Wisconsin Election Watch obtained campaign finance records from the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board for this story. However, the only version of Fair Wisconsin’s campaign finance reports were available was in paper format. Organized labor donated significant amounts of money to Fair Wisconsin in 2006 in their effort to oppose the referendum. The Wisconsin Educational Association...

For too long we have been lied to about the sexual revolution. But now the mask is coming off, and the younger generations are recognizing that they have been sold a pack of lies. It’s sobering and frustrating to consider that each and every time social conservatives raised the cultural alarm throughout the last five decades, pointing out that each new manifestation of the Sexual Revolution would lead to devastating consequences, they were written off with derisive laughter. They were accused of “provoking a moral panic,†or being “stuck in the past†or “too prudish.†The “slippery-slope†arguments of...

Listen to an audio version of this column Last Thursday, the Washington Post carried an opinion piece by James Richardson, whose brief bio says that he's a former spokesman and adviser for the Republican National Committee and Governors Haley Barbour and Jon Huntsman. His column, "I'm a senior GOP spokesman, and I'm gay. Let me get married," attempts to make the case that there is simply no reason under the sun that he should not be able to "marry" a man. The collapse of moral clarity in the United States is plainly shown in the withering sensibilities of the American...

A child of three has become one of the youngest ever to be seen by NHS doctors for possible gender identity disorder. The infant was seen by medics at the Portland Clinic in London, which helps people who believe they are in the wrong body. The child was the youngest of 468 under-18s seen in the past 12 months. It is not known if the patient is a boy or a girl, although seven boys are referred for every girl. Gender-swap former boxing manager Kellie Maloney , 61, previously called Frank, has said: “It was probably when I was three...

Tel Aviv is famous for being home to one of the most vibrant LGBT communities in the world and certainly in the Middle East. Strongly proud and “out,” Tel Aviv’s gay community has become a center for gay culture and tourism, particularly among gays from Europe and the United States who want to experience the Middle East and Mediterranean life in a safe environment.

NEW YORK — Kim Kardashian and Kanye West aren't the only ones who tied the knot this year in Italy. So did Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka. The "How I Met Your Mother" star and his actor-chef groom were married Saturday in Italy. They'd been dating for 10 years and are parents to 3-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper. The grooms wore custom Tom Ford tuxedos and Elton John performed at the reception.

Extreme political, cultural and economic forces are colluding to secularize the St. Patrick's Day Parade in New York City, argues William A. Donohue, president of the Catholic League for Religious and Civil Rights. "If it gets to the point where the Catholic element is completely diluted, then I will no longer march in the parade," Donohue told Aleteia two days after the St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee agreed to allow a group of gay NBC Universal employees to march under its own banner in the 2015 parade. In a written statement provided to the Associated Press, the parade committee said...
