The media will report gay marriages like this one, but not the majority that are absolutely revolting.

No, they were not married. Marriage is defined as the union of a man and a woman.
Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
Genesis 2:24. This was and never has been a marriage. What other words can the left take away from the lexicon? Answer: all of them if we let them.

Some people seem to be wired that way, and after 72 years together it is safe to say they know what they are doing (they started dating during WWII). We need to preach to the culture about sin, repentance, and our fallen nature, and reach out to all sinners keeping in mind that we are sinners ourselves. The marriage battle can only be fought one soul at a time, not through a politics. Personal relationships and witness to people who respect your opinion are more important than voting or winning in court.

They’re life-long roommates. Now they just want benefits.

“Theyre life-long roommates. Now they just want benefits.”
Exactly.
And, that is one of the major legal and financial farces of gay marriage.
With gay marriage, two people of the same sex, who are just friends, can just go down to the courthouse and get a marriage licensee and then receive all the benefits that two people would receive if they entered into a heterosexual marriage.

Take sexual orientation out of the equation. Why is Government involved in the business of treating married and single people differently?
