NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – A Black Lives Matter-aligned organization called ‘Take ‘Em Down Nola’ stormed New Orleans’ Andrew Jackson monument demanding all monuments related to the Civil War come down across the city. The monument which sits at the heart of the city’s historic French Quarter. Now I must tell you that my father who was known as the Freeper history-matters has also died today. At 2 o'clock my family gathered in my father's hospital room for my son Finn to announce that he and Aileen are engaged. They have only known each other a few weeks.
