This unusual year shows signs of becoming weirder yet. Reading Nathaniel Philbrick’s “Sea of Glory” about the little-known U.S. Exploring Expedition (or “Ex-Ex”) of 1836 reminded me how 1965 was a particularly strange year for me. That October my family moved from Texas to Vermont, where we were “the Kennedy killers” in the eyes of New Englanders still resentful of the President’s assassination; we arrived the week after a couple named Hill were abducted in neighboring New Hampshire by a UFO; the massive Northeastern power blackout occurred the following week; and I was expelled from school ten minutes into my...

Eric Holder, accused of murdering Ermias Asghedom, was scheduled to go to trial last month. Superior Court Judge Perry promised Eric that he would retain his right to a speedy trial. A month later, the County Clerk offices, and courthouses in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and other cities around Southern California are closed until further notice. Holder, 30, stands accused of fatally shooting “Nipsey” and a friend, ten or twelve times, outside of his LA, clothing store in Watts. Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michel Moore said, as the funeral procession for Nipsey passed by the clothing store in memorial,...

Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz shamed a "failure of our Republican leadership" When Devin Nunes, Mark Meadows, Jim Jordan and I wanted subpoena power it was Paul Ryan and Trey Gowdy that wouldn't give us that subpoena power. Democrats sent out hundreds of subpoenas. "When Paul Ryan had control and could have run this to ground in 2017, we didn't send out one single subpoena, not one… a failure of our Republican leadership."

The age of the victims ranged from 18 to 52. According to SPF, the victims left their residences for non-essential activities such as procuring sexual services by purchasing gift cards or using AXS machines during the circuit breaker period. Most cases involved the victims falling for the...

Members voted 4-1 to remove restrictions put in place by the state to ensure more beds for coronavirus patients and to prepare hospitals for a surge of cases. While doctors will have the authority to decide if a procedure is medically necessary, the vote means cosmetic surgeries will now be permitted in the city of Beverly Hills.

When famous African-American guitarist and singer Jimi Hendrix was found dead in a London flat on September 18, 1970 aged a mere 27 years, newspaper reports claimed he had died from a heroin overdose while the autopsy report claimed he had drowned on his own vomit. A Brooklyn man suspected of butchering his father walked into a bagel shop near the grisly crime scene and claimed he not only killed his dad — but also devoured parts of his body, police sources told The Post on Thursday. Khaled Ahmad allegedly walked into Park Bagels drenched in blood Wednesday, ranting to a clerk about the murder, a high-ranking police source said. “One of the store’s owners alerted the officer who was outside that it appears his partner was having an interaction with a person that they know is a regular and is crazy,” according to the source....
