In the four years Hillary Clinton sent and received State Department correspondence using a private and insecure email system, Harold T. Martin III allegedly stockpiled classified information inside his Maryland home and an unlocked shed. Martin faces charges for alleged theft of government documents and mishandling classified information that carry up to 11 years in prison, and he’s been behind bars since his August arrest.... Defense attorneys for prominent whistleblowers, accused leakers and careless clearance-holders say that unless more damning evidence emerges they could see Martin making a successful plea for leniency by pointing to the Justice Department’s decision this...

"As an article in The Washington Post reveals, influential radio broadcaster and confirmed false prophet Harold Camping is at it again. The end of days, according to Camping, is set for May 11, 2011. Camping has made this same prediction, but for a different date, in the past. Sherman, set the Wayback Machine for August of 1994. I was living in Fallbrook, California and on a particularly beautiful SoCal Saturday morning, I took my two young daughters out for breakfast at a coffee shop. While my girls nibbled at their muffins and sipped chocolate milk, a friendly, sixty-ish gentleman struck...

In an order signed Monday, Southern District Judge Harold Baer Jr. ordered two firms serving as co-lead counsel in a securities class action against Gildan Activewear—Labaton Sucharow and Robbins Geller Rudman & Dowd—to "make every effort" to assign at least one minority and one woman to the case. "This proposed class includes thousands of participants, both male and female, arguably from diverse backgrounds, and it is therefore important to all concerned that there is evidence of diversity, in terms of race and gender, in the class counsel I appoint," the judge wrote in In re Gildan Activewear Inc. Securities Litigation,...

APPARENTLY the First Lady's famous White House herb and vegetable garden was not the type of natural pick-me-up he was looking for. Kal Penn, star of the Harold & Kumar movies, will leave his job in the Obama administration to appear in a new Christmas-themed flick as his signature stoner character... Penn quit his previous gig, a recurring role on the hospital drama House to become White House director of public engagement last year.

I posted a couple of items to do with the Arizona self defense shooting case of Harold Fish in the last week. I gave an email address for Democrat Governor Napolitano. Unfortunately, she does not accept emails at that address any longer. In fact, the only way that I was able to send her an email was by filling out a comment form at her governor's website. Not wonder that her spokesperson said that she had not recieved any emails on the subject in the last 10 days, and only 57 before that! I went to the trouble of filling...

PHOENIX -- The House on Monday reversed itself and approved the latest attempt to make a 2006 self-defense law favorable to defendants apply retroactively in some cases. They were: Republican Reps. Bill Konopnicki of Safford, Jennifer Burns of Tucson, Lucy Mason of Prescott and Jim Weiers of Phoenix, as well as Democratic Rep. Barbara McGuire of Kearny. None explained their changed votes during the floor...

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Bob Corker holds a 16-point lead over his Aug. 3 primary election opponents, according to a poll conducted last week for the Chattanooga Times Free Press. "Corker looks to be in pretty good shape," said Brad Coker, managing director of Washington, D.C.-based Mason-Dixon Polling & Research Inc. "I would clearly put him in there as the favorite and the front-runner at this point." Thirty-nine percent of likely Republican primary voters surveyed said they would vote for Mr. Corker, compared to 23 percent for Ed Bryant and 22 percent for Van Hilleary. One percent of respondents said...

(Long read ahead.) xxxx In 1958 I wrote the following: 'There are no hard distinctions between what is real and what is unreal, nor between what is true and what is false. A thing is not necessarily either true or false; it can be both true and false.' I believe that these assertions still make sense and do still apply to the exploration of reality through art. So as a writer I stand by them but as a citizen I cannot. As a citizen I must ask: What is true? What is false? Truth in drama is forever elusive. You...

More than 200 lawmakers have rushed to correct travel-disclosure statements in recent months as reporters on Capitol Hill discover more discrepancies in the wake of questions about travel by House Majority Leader Tom DeLay. "You're dealing with hundreds," said Kent Cooper, co-founder of PoliticalMoneyLine, a Web site that compiles the forms after they're filed with the clerk's office and makes it available at www.fecinfo.com. "There's a ton more for staffers." Mr. Cooper said his figure covered parts of April and May, a period during which the scrutiny of gift travel — which is funded by corporations and outside interest groups...

Judge A. Harold Matz said he would rule on the motion when the case resumes on Tuesday. Matz said he expected the jury...

Excerpt from: Orthodox Christianity and the English Tradition 55. Hastings - 1066-1993 'King Harold was slain, and Leofwine and Gyrth, his brothers, and many good men. This battle took place on the feast of St. Callistus.'The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle Before us a field full of dread, Bodies in hundreds lying dead, Steeds riderless wandered at will, Swords, armour, gnashing, groaning shrill. Death it was that flew above this field, Over the fallen and swords steeled. Death I see, as it drifts and flies, The souls it seems, yearn to rise But dare not yet their bodies leave - Yea, souls these...

Here they go again, The Yanks in their armoured parade Chanting their ballads of joy As they gallop across the big world Praising America's God. The gutters are clogged with the dead The ones who couldn't join in The others refusing to sing The ones who are losing their voice The ones who've forgotten the tune. The riders have whips which cut. Your head rolls onto the sand Your head is a pool in the dirt Your head is a stain in the dust Your eyes have gone out and your nose Sniffs only the pong of the dead And...
