Fox Sports staffers in Los Angeles are bracing for a wave of possible budget cutbacks due to disappointing NFL advertising sales this season, sources tell Sporting News. Another important factor: With Team USA eliminated from the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Fox can't count on soccer ad dollars next year to get well from an ad standpoint.

A deer gored a hunter to death with its antlers while the man was on an expedition in France, according to reports. Police said the 62-year-old hunter was serving as a beater, helping corner the game, when the deer charged at him in an “uncommon” attack. The deer “stabbed him with [its] antlers” causing the man to die from internal bleeding at the scene, according to authorities.

New York activist Tamika Mallory says she was booted from an American Airlines flight in Miami after a pilot inserted himself into a dispute over her seat assignment. Mallory, a co-chair of the Women’s March on Washington, was traveling home to New York when the pilot followed her to scold her over an argument she had with a gate agent. PHOENIX - Phoenix police say they’ve arrested a man who allegedly kicked a can of tear gas at officers after the President Trump rally earlier this week. Police shot the man with a pepper ball moments after he kicked the canister. Police say 29-year-old Joshua Cobin has been arrested on three counts of aggravated assault on police and one count of unlawful assembly.
