During a PBS town hall meeting, president Obama was asked why he and Hillary want to control and restrict guns and ammunition to responsible gun owners. On Sunday, Hillary Clinton just couldn’t bring herself to say on ABC's "This Week" that Americans have an individual right to own guns. But it didn’t stop her from denying Donald Trump’s claim that she wants to abolish the Second Amendment. Producer Katie Couric and Director Stephanie Soechtig stand accused of doctoring the responses of a group of participants in their anti-gun propaganda film, Under the Gun. If substantiated, the claim will destroy Couric’s reputation as a journalist and Soechtig’s reputation as a director. It appears that the Virginia Citizens Defense League (VCDL) participants have the evidence in the form of audio from the interview that substantiates their claims.

There was a recent domestic shooting in Maryland.  The presumed perpetrator was a federal law enforcement officer.  He is reported to have killed his estranged wife and two other people.   His wife had a protective order against him in March, and the Federal Protective Service, of which Mr. Tordil was a member, took his service firearm and seven other firearms.This was in Maryland, which requires handguns to be registered. Proponents of more gun control for American citizens are frequently people who live their lives surrounded by good guys with guns. Moreover, gun control proponents are also people who use tragedies as an opportunity to push more gun laws even when said laws would have done nothing to prevent the tragedy that occurred. Occasionally, all these hypocritical qualities are found in one person or, in this case, seven people.
