Harris County sheriff's deputies in Texas are investigating after a father shot a 17-year-old boy whom he found in his teenage daughter's bedroom. Officials said Friday the 55-year-old father has not been arrested and investigators will ultimately hand over their report to the grand jury to consider possible charges. There have been reports that Navy veteran John Cinque has been receiving threats because of his stance on the issue of Connecticut's gun registration law. Connecticut gun owners are calling the state’s anti-gun bluff. The state recently passed a slew of anti-gun legislation, including a gun registration program for so called “assault rifles” that has been received with less enthusiasm than Obamacare. In fact, many gun owners in Connecticut have elected to ignore the patently unconstitutional law in the same way that Millennials have ignored the IRS requirement for health insurance. NEW ALBANY, Ind. —Investigators announced charges against three more teenagers in connection to a deadly New Albany fire that killed three children and seriously hurt a fourth. Cody Cashion is already behind bars, charged with felony murder, but police said three teenage girls were in a car with him when he shot a flare gun into a home, intentionally starting the fire.

Jerome Hauer, a top aide to New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, appears to have regularly carried a firearm to work in violation of state law. On January 27th Florida state representative Dan Eagle (R-Cape Coral) put forward a bill to prevent any "agent of the state or its political subdivisions [from participating] with or [assisting] federal agents in the enforcement of federal firearms laws."
