Valerie Jarrett, former senior adviser to then-President Barack Obama, said Thursday that the 2016 election result was “gut-wrenching,” and she did not see the election results coming. “Elections have consequences,” Ms. Jarrett said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “I actually didn’t see the election coming out the way it did.” Ms. Jarrett said she will continue her work on issues she cares about from the private sector, saying the former president and first lady will also likely remain in the private sector. When asked if she had any discussion with former first lady Michelle Obama about a possible run for office,...

Hillary Clinton was "guilty of every charge," and FBI Director James Comey "saved her life" with his revelation that he would not pursue charges against her for her use of a private email server and the handling of classified information, President Donald Trump said in an interview airing Wednesday. "When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge," Trump told Fox Business' Maria Bartiromo about Comey's 2016 press conference. "When he was reading those charges, she was guilty of every charge, and then he said she was essentially OK." {..snip..}

This is stunningly interesting and hopefully will be picked up by MSM and congressional investigators. Sometimes when a person is deep inside an echo-chamber of like-minded ideologues, they might not realize what they’re saying is rather revealing to those on the outside. That’s the set up for former Obama administration official Evelyn Farkas (Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense) appearing on MSNBC and admitting first hand knowledge the Obama administration spied on candidate and president-elect Donald Trump’s transition team to gather “intelligence” for political use. It would appear Ms. Farkas was so caught up in the discussion, she didn’t quite realize...

In Wilbur Ross' first public announcement, the former hedge fund manger and current Trump commerce secretary announced that China's telecommunications giant ZTE has agreed to pay a total of $1.2 billion in penalties and plead guilty to violating U.S. sanctions on Iran, selling US technology to Tehran, and obstructing a federal investigation, ending a five-year probe that has raised trade tensions between the U.S. and China. The penalty was among the largest ever in a sanctions case. ZTE was accused that over a six-year-long period, it planned to obtain technology products from the U.S., incorporate them into ZTE equipment and...

A military court in the Kiryat army complex in Tel Aviv handed down a guilty verdict to Sgt. Elor Azariya Wednesday morning. Azariya, accused of manslaughter after shooting a wounded terrorist in Hevron on March 24th, 2016, claimed that he opened fire on the terrorist as an act of self-defense, arguing that he feared the terrorist was attempting to detonate an explosive device. Following the decision by the court, Azariya is expected to be transferred immediately from the court to prison, even before a final sentence is handed down. Azariya will likely receive his sentence in February. He could face...

Most oaths of office contain language to uphold the Constitution and the law. If such a severe breach of that oath as to openly refuse to uphold the law is not in of itself a violation of law, it should be. At the very least it is perjury (which is lying under oath). Obama has violated his oath of office more times than he has used the word "I".....

Donald Trump urged voters Sunday to "deliver justice at the ballot box" on Election Day, hours after the FBI announced that its review of newly discovered emails did not change its earlier conclusion to not recommend charges against Hillary Clinton. Trump, speaking at a rally here, did not directly refer to FBI Director James Comey's announcement. But his remarks amounted to his first public response to the decision, and the Republican nominee argued that Clinton is "guilty" of federal crimes and said a "rigged" system was protecting Clinton. "Hillary Clinton is guilty. She knows it, the FBI knows it, the...

Hillary Clinton’s closest aide Huma Abedin has come out of seclusion for the first time since the email uproar involving estranged husband Anthony Weiner broke last week. Photographers found her at Union Station in Washington, D.C., and asked how she was feeling. "Sad," she replied. FBI agents are still investigating how Clinton emails ended up on Weiner’s private computer. At the train station, she was asked if Weiner’s “antics could hurt Hillary’s campaign” and if Trump could win. Abedin did not respond to those particular questions. Abedin was still supporting Clinton at a glitzy private fundraiser in the nation's capital...

A jury found writer Sabrina Erdely and Rolling Stone liable on multiple claims in a defamation suit based on a gang rape story the magazine later retracted. University administrator Nicole Eramo was seeking $7.5 million from the magazine over its portrayal of her in the 2014 story by Sabrina Rubin Erdely about the alleged sexual assault of a woman identified only as “Jackie.” Eramo claimed she was unfairly portrayed in the article as trying to sweep Jackie’s sexual assault under the rug in order to protect the university. Eramo had to prove that Rolling Stone statements about her made her...

Hillary’s assistant Huma Abedin disclosed this information during FBI testimony. Catherine Herridge: One of the key things we’ve learned in the FBI interviews known as 302s came from Clinton aide Huma Abedin. It must be worse than we thought. Hillary Clinton held a short press conference on Friday following the news that the FBI would reopen its investigation on her secret email server. Hillary urged Americans to “get out and vote early” before more information is released on her criminal acts. It must really be bad.
