After being arrested on Saturday afternoon for painting over the state-sanctioned Black Lives Matter mural outside Trump Tower in New York City, Bevelyn Beatty and her friends made late night visits to paint over the street lettering in Brooklyn and Harlem. The intensely brave women did not back down when confronted by people who were hostile to their efforts.

YAKIMA, Wash. -- The Yakima Police Department is asking the public to help find the person who vandalized a department-sponsored mural in downtown Yakima. “This beautiful new artwork was recently graffiti’d on,” police said in a Monday Twitter post. TRACY — One man was booked on a civil rights violation and hate crime enhancement, and another on suspicion of vandalism, after police found racist graffiti on a Tracy office building Saturday night. Vandals spray-painted gang-related messages across an area of Georgetown overnight, leaving an elementary school, a community center, a park and close to a dozen other buildings damaged. A pair of dim-witted graffiti vandals who videotaped their escapades were caught in the act by cops who only had to hit the rewind button to see them defacing a North End statue earlier this week, police said. ``Who does this?
