<p>California's Republican voters want former Secretary of State Bill Jones as their candidate in a race against U.S. Sen. Barbara Boxer, the San Francisco Democrat who's up for election next year, according to a recent Field Poll.</p>
<p>Among likely GOP voters, 35 percent prefer Jones; 23 percent want Mary Bono, a Republican congresswoman from Palm Springs; 6 percent back former U.S. Treasurer Rosario Marin; and 2 percent support Toni Casey, the former mayor of Los Altos Hills.</p>
