A fax attributed to Vester Lee Flanagan claims the slayings were a response to the Charleston mass shooting. An apparent suicide note received by ABC News on Wednesday morning and attributed to Virginia shooting suspect Flanagan, aka Bryce Williams, claims the killing of two reporters during an on-air interview was motivated by the Charleston church shooting and a desire to incite a “race war.” ABC News says a man identifying himself as both Flanagan and Williams — Flanagan's on-air name — first contacted it several weeks ago. The man asked for a fax number, claiming he wanted to pitch the...

News anchor Jorge Ramos, who works for Univision and Fusion, was thrown out of a press conference with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in Iowa Tuesday night after trying to ask questions about immigration. "You haven't been called...go back to Univision," Trump told Ramos before a security guard forcibly removed him. (Ramos later returned and was able to pose questions to Trump). ... Do You Think Trump Was Directing The Security Guard To Take You Out? "Absolutely. He was in control of the press conference. It is very clear with his body language that he was giving orders and I...

Flanagan who, according to one report by WTVR used the on air name of Bryce Williams, was fired from the TV station two years ago. On Wednesday, a Twitter account linked to a man named Bryce Williams posted first person video of the shooting online. Within minutes, Twitter took down the account. WASHINGTON -- For months there has appeared to be one roadblock standing between Donald Trump and victory in the Republican presidential primary campaign: The large number of people who didn’t like him. While poll after poll found him in the lead, they also found him with some of the highest unfavorable numbers -- meaning people had already formed an opinion of him, and it wasn’t positive. But two polls released Tuesday in early primary states show that dislike evaporating. A South Carolina poll conducted by Monmouth University found Trump with 58 percent holding a favorable opinion and 28 percent, an...

Bexar County Republicans who support U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz for president turned out in force Tuesday to hear his wife, Heidi, plead for financial support in a race she described as winnable. The crowd of more than 200 loyalists at Bexar GOP headquarters was already on the Cruz bandwagon in terms of policy. They applauded Heidi Cruz’s denunciations of President Barack Obama’s executive orders, the Affordable Care Act he championed, Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton, the Iran nuclear deal, gay marriage and Planned Parenthood. So the candidate’s wife — whose professional financial savvy has made her an integral part of...

One by one, U.S. Senate Democrats are announcing that after much deliberation ‎‎(translated as arm twisting by President Barack Obama), they have decided to support the ‎Iran deal, the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, despite serious misgivings. Each of the senators wants you to ‎know that they were personally wrestling with this decision for weeks, talking to ‎experts (provided by the Obama administration for the most part), reading the ‎agreement carefully, weighing and balancing risk versus reward. Each Senate ‎Democrat joining the charade of moving from indecision to decision, makes sure to add that they want to do everything to...

Glenn Beck will not support Donald Trump if he wins the GOP presidential nomination. In a Monday evening interview on CNN, the radio personality also said he preferred Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) –who was the face of the Gang of Eight’s massive comprehensive amnesty bill–over Trump and even mocked Trump for having a “special place” to keep all of the Bibles that people send him. Host Don Lemon asked Beck, “If Donald Trump is the nominee, will you support him?” Beck, who over the weekend declared on left-leaning NPR that Trump was not a conservative, replied, “No.”

Jeb Bush's campaign on Tuesday put out a video highlighting his hurricane response record as governor of Florida as the nation marks the 10-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. But at one point, the campaign spot features Bush standing next to then-Federal Emergency Management Agency head Michael Brown, one of the most infamous figures of the George W. Bush administration's widely criticized response to the disaster. The two-minute video features clips of hurricanes and Bush back when he was governor, interspersed with expert testimonials about Bush's leadership during disasters, which frequently affect the state he governed in the early to mid-2000s....

Texas Senator and Republican presidential candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) accused Fox News Channel anchor Megyn Kelly of asking “the question every mainstream media liberal journalist wants to ask” and “the question Barack Obama wants to focus on” on Tuesday’s “Kelly File” on the Fox News Channel. Cruz was asked about his support for ending birthright citizenship and whether this means he favors amending the Constitution, he answered, “Well, as a policy matter, Megyn, it doesn’t make any sense anymore, that people who are here illegally, that their children would have automatic citizenship. That what that does is it serves...

Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders will be breaking from the Democratic Party and running for president as a third party, a move that "would all but guarantee a catastrophic split in the Democratic vote and ensure a Republican victory," Ed Klein confidential reports, citing sources inside Sanders' campaign. "Sources say Sanders believes that despite his ever-growing crowds of fired-up supporters, he'll never overcome Hillary's — or, for that matter, (Vice President Joe) Biden's — advantage in money, organization and endorsements," Klein writes. "In Bernie's opinion, Hillary is owned by Wall Street and is a hawk," according to a source characterized by...
  • Donald Trump kicked TV’s most influential Latino newsman out of a press conference

Donald Trump, derider of Mexican illegal immigrants, insulter of POWs and GOP front-runner, kicked journalist Jorge Ramos out of a press conference Tuesday evening. The billionaire later allowed Ramos back into the press conference, where the two engaged in several lengthy exchanges that dominated the remainder of the event. But none of those exchanges provided the moment that will be repeated in endless loops on cable TV, shared on social media and discussed in Hispanic TV-watching households across the country. The lasting image will be that of Ramos -- who serves as Univision's lead anchor and is effectively one of the (if not...

At this rate, itÂ’s hard to believe he wonÂ’t be the first mid-major candidate out of the race. His fundraising has been so poor, thanks in part to Ted Cruz soaking up lots of Texas money, that Perry had to temporarily stop paying his staff two weeks ago. The moneyÂ’s since started flowing again as the campaign has begun to outsource operations to his Super PAC, which has plenty of dough in the bank, but thereÂ’s no getting around the perception that heÂ’s struggling. With good reason: HeÂ’s currently at 1.3 percent in RCPÂ’s poll average in Iowa. He hasnÂ’t...
