North Korea has described the latest UN sanctions imposed on the country as an "act of war". The foreign ministry said the measures were tantamount to a total economic blockade, the KCNA news agency reported. The Ninth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Friday that part of President Trump's third attempt at a travel ban should be blocked. The ruling, however, will not take effect pending review by the U.S. Supreme Court. Authorities have arrested a 26-year-old man connected to the Islamic State (ISIS) who was allegedly plotting a terrorist attack in San Francisco over the Christmas holiday. The FBI reports that they arrested Everitt Aaron Jameson, a truck driver from Modesto, California. He referred to himself as Abdallah adu Everitt ibn Gordon. He is charged specifically with attempting to supply support to a foreign terrorist organization and he has posted pro-ISIS and pro-terrorist posts on Facebook. His intended target was San Francisco’s famous Pier 39. Israel has announced it is leaving UNESCO citing the U.N. cultural agency’s “systematic attacks” on the Jewish state. Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nahshon said Friday that the decision was based on the organization’s “attempts to disconnect Jewish history from the land of Israel.” He said the official letter of departure will be submitted before the year’s end and that Israel will leave the organization by the end of 2018. Earlier this year the U.S said it will withdraw from UNESCO, also at that time, citing similar reasons. …

Did anyone see that launch. I was about 80 miles out and it was the strangest launch I've ever seen at a distance. On the west coast you can still see the initial trails even though it's dark here. Multiple shock waves and explosions were seen as if they were detonating it yet the main stage seem to go off out into the Pacific. COLUMBUS, OH (WCMH) - Ohio Governor John Kasich has signed a bill banning abortions on an unborn child that has or may have Down Syndrome. Kasich signed House Bill 214 Friday which “Prohibits a person from performing, inducing, or attempting to perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman who is seeking the abortion because an unborn child has or may have Down Syndrome.”
