Ghislaine Maxwell believes that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered, her brother Ian suggested in an interview with Spectator’s Americano podcast. He also railed against US authorities and staunchly maintained his sister’s innocence in the 24-minute exchange. “It so happens one of the conspiracy theories about my father is that he was murdered rather than committed suicide or died by accident,” Ian Maxwell told interviewer Freddy Gray. “Of all my siblings, Ghislaine is the only one who happens to believe he was murdered. I would venture to think that she also thinks that Epstein was murdered.” British tycoon Robert Maxwell died under...

Back in April 2015, a young black man named Freddie Gray was arrested by the Baltimore Police Department. He'd run from the police, had an illegal knife in his pocket and resisted arrest. The police loaded him into the back of the van but allegedly failed to secure him in place. During the ride to the police station, the van's movement apparently caused Gray to slam his head into one of the walls, resulting in his death. Given the furor surrounding the deaths of Eric Garner in New York City in July 2014 and Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, in...

One of the funnier comedy Trump videos on YouTube is a montage, made before he became president, of all the times Trump said China. It’s about three minutes long and is mesmerisingly hilarious. As a candidate, he talked about China ‘raping’ America. Funnily enough, that was exactly what Americans wanted to hear...Maybe Trump isn’t as stupid as he seems – and maybe his supporters aren’t as stupid as smug liberals assume. Forty per cent of Americans never leave their country, but they can see how it is being eclipsed by China. And US voters know that China doesn’t play by...

Former MSNBC host Ed Schultz opened up in a recent interview about why he believes he was fired in 2015. Schultz, who’s now anchor of a show on RT, told National Review‘s Jamie Weinstein that he believes it was because he supported Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), which was problematic, he charged, because the network was “in the tank for Hillary Clinton.”He described how MSNBC chief Phil Griffin was a "watchdog" who closely managed which stories were covered, and relayed one incident where his story about Sanders’s launch of his campaign was bumped in favor of other news. Sanders gave his official campaign...

Reaction to Sunday's column on Baltimore's distressing loss in population ranged from genuine empathy to snarky glee. Some citizens took the opportunity to complain about city life: A woman in Roland Park said she has a rat problem and that her water has been brown for months. I told her to get on her landlord about the rats and her City Council rep about the water — and to call me if she can't get no satisfaction. It's a depressing development, the city losing some 6,700 residents during the 12 months that ended in July 2016. After years when the...

A federal judge is allowing key parts of a lawsuit against Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby, brought by five of the six police officers charged in the death of Freddie Gray, to move forward. U.S. District Judge Marvin J. Garbis ruled that claims including malicious prosecution, defamation, and invasion of privacy can move forward against Mosby and Assistant Sheriff Samuel Cogen, who wrote the statement of probable cause. Mosby's attorneys had said she has absolute prosecutorial immunity from actions taken as a state's attorney. But Garbis noted that her office has said it conducted an independent investigation. "Plaintiffs' malicious...

(CNN)Shortly after being elected last year, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby said prosecutors like her in the troubled city had the "toughest job in America." It's not getting any easier. After three Baltimore police officers were acquitted in recent months of charges related to last year's high-profile death of Freddie Gray, prosecutors announced Wednesday they were dropping all charges against the three remaining officers facing trial in connection with Gray's death. The news was a defeat for Mosby, who had announced the charges against the six officers in May 2015 -- four months after she took the job as the...

Remember the “Hero Mom of Baltimore†who smacked down her son on the evening news and dragged him out of the Baltimore Riots? (Ed had the video of the interview with her and some early observations on how this wasn’t going to be a panacea for all of society.) It’s been six months since all of that madness unfolded and the Washington Post got to wondering what ever happened to the lady. She seemed to be all over the cable dial for a short while after her fifteen seconds of fame, but then… nothing. She was supposed to be...

A Baltimore judge ruled Tuesday that statements made by two of the six police officers charged in Freddie Gray's arrest and death are admissible as evidence in their own trials and possibly in the trials of their peers. Judge Barry Williams denied motions by attorneys for Sgt. Alicia D. White and Officer William G. Porter to suppress statements they made to police investigators in the aftermath of Gray's arrest in April. The officers had argued that the statements were obtained improperly.

Watching the Kelly File right now where she is breaking some news, discussing the Freddy Gray case. You all may remember the news article about Donta Allen stating that he heard Freddy Gray "trying to hurt himself" inside the van. These claims he later denied to the media, claiming he never even spoke to an investigator. Well, according to Kelly, in a massive evidence dump today, not only did Donta Allen say what the original news article claimed, but the interview is on video. On that video he says "he was trying to hurt himself." Kelly is saying there's no...

Baltimore prosecutor Marilyn Mosby has withheld the autopsy report on Freddie Gray from defense counsel and the public for nearly two months. It is the report on which she relied to file murder and other charges against six police officers, even though the investigation into Mr. Gray’s death was not close to being complete. Now, just two days before Friday’s court deadline for the state to disclose the report to the defense, it has been leaked to the Baltimore Sun. The Sun’s story makes it easier to understand why Ms. Mosby wanted the autopsy kept under wraps. It raises additional...

As demonstrations in Baltimore over the death of Freddie Gray in police custody became increasingly violent last night, protesters attacked and robbed a Russia Today reporter who was videotaping them. Young men were seen in the video flashing the middle finger to the camera and shouting obscenities. As they get closer to the reporter videotaping, she is thrown to the ground. According to RT’s Russian-language site, a protester stole the reporter’s handbag. She pursued the attacker on foot until police showed up. As The Blaze pointed out, though, RT neglected to mention the attack on their English-language website. Watch the...
