Fox News announced that they do not plan on booking Michael Knowles moving forward after he called 16-year-old climate activist Greta Thunberg "mentally ill" on the network Monday night. Knowles, who hosts The Michael Knowles Show for the Daily Wire, appeared on Fox News for a segment about climate change and Thunberg's activism. He was accompanied on the show by Chris Hahn, a former aide to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who took exception to Knowles' characterization of the teenager. Fox News contributor Guy Benson married his boyfriend of four years, Adam Wise, on Saturday. The couple tied the knot in front of 150 guests at the Charles Krug Winery in Napa Valley, Calif., People reported. Wise, 24, said of Benson, “We’re both organized and driven human beings. We just work well together. We’re best friends. He’s my home.” The pair met after Benson came out as gay on Fox News' "The Kelly File" in 2015, where he'd been promoting his book, "End of Discussion."

Fox news host Jeanine Pirro confirmed she was suspended from her Fox show in March over comments she made about Rep. Ilhan Omar, and that she is uncertain about her future with Fox News. Pirro was speaking to former White House aide Sebastian Gorka during a commercial break on his live radio show, “America First,” on Sept. 3. CNN’s seven hour Climate Change town hall Wednesday night was not enough to propel the network past Fox News and MSNBC in the day’s cable television ratings. During the same time period that Democratic presidential candidates were discussing their plans to combat climate change with a town hall audience, Fox News pulled in 2.5 million viewers compared to just 1.1 million for CNN, according to Nielsen Media Research Fox News also continued to dominate prime-time, averaging nearly 3.2 million viewers, compared to roughly 2.1 million for MSNBC and 1.4 million for CNN.

Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera accused AR-15 rifle owners of using the gun to compensate for small penis size. Responding to comedian Sarah Silverman's tweet that mocked hunters for possessing similar insecurities, Rivera said, "AR15 are the symptom of small penises." Claiming "their products are used for their only intended purpose: to mimic military assault weapons to kill and maim people," Rivera had said earlier that companies manufacturing AR-15 rifles should be sued for damages, much like opioid makers and tobacco companies.

This week on Fox News, host Neil Cavuto blasted President Donald Trump‘s criticism of the network in a monologue dubbed “Common Sense” that he delivered on Thursday. Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will become a contributor for Fox News. Sanders, who was the press secretary for nearly two years, will make her debut on FOX & Friends during its next live audience show on September 6th. “FOX News has been the number one news organization in the country for 17 years running and I am beyond proud to join their incredible stable of on-air contributors in providing political insights and analysis," Sanders said, according to a Fox News press release.

Former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is joining Fox News as a contributor, the network announced Thursday. Sanders, who left the Trump administration roughly two months ago, will appear on various Fox platforms to provide political commentary. She will make her first appearance on "Fox & Friends" during its Sept. 6 broadcast. Sanders worked on the Trump campaign and later in the White House, where she spent approximately two years as press secretary.
