Bill O'Reilly's ratings record streak among the coveted group of cable viewers between the ages of 25 and 54 has just been broken, not by a rival network, but by his Fox News colleague Megyn Kelly. Thanks to Fox's GOP primary debate, Kelly's average audience in that key demographic surpassed O'Reilly's in the third quarter of the year. O'Reilly has been #1 on cable in the demo every quarterly period since 2005. His dethroning might create some tension in the halls at Fox, but it's not as if Kelly's gains are coming at his expense. To the contrary, Kelly's 9...

Let’s talk about Fox News’s Megyn Kelly, shall we? In 2011 I won a journalism award from News Corp where I got to meet some of the muckety mucks at Fox. Night owl that I am, I asked to meet Greg Gutfeld. Gutfeld told me that Fox News was kind of like high school but without the jocks. “There are lots of babes and a bunch of nerds and geeks but no jocks,” he said. It was, he intimated, kind of awesome, at least, for the men. I thought this vaguely creepy and stopped watching Red Eye soon thereafter though...

It looks like Trump is winning against Fox News. In an article written by Politico today the infamous Trump-hater Megyn Kelly is quoted as saying she no longer wants to talk about Donald Trump. […] “He’s a passionate man, and I think that passion has appealed to a lot of voters, and has surprised a lot of people,” she said. “I think that’s all I’m going to say.” (Via Politico) Fox News anchor and show host Megyn Kelly, who has been lambasted by presidential frontrunner Donald Trump since the first Republican national debate, said she was done talking about her...

Less than a week after he said he would not be “doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future,” Donald J. Trump is set to appear Tuesday night on the network’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” the network confirmed.

Majority of Fox News commentators and guests seem to prefer anybody but Donald Trump. If this type of bias continues, it remains to be seen if conservatives, the backbone of their audience, will remain loyal to the network. Stay tuned Ever since it was launched in 1996, Fox News has enjoyed an ever growing television audience. Talk show host Rush Limbaugh often promoted Fox News in the early years of the network, helping to establish the connection with conservatives across the country. In fact, thanks to Rush and others on talk radio, Fox News enjoyed tremendous ratings growth over the...

For all of our Trump fans, a sweet little morsel left over from yesterday’s Gabriel Sherman post about the latest eruption of the Trump/Fox war. Are there any Fox News hosts so obsequious towards Trump that they might dial him up and beg him to come back, like Johnny Fontane pleading with the Godfather to help him get that part he always wanted? Seems hard to imagine for most of them. Emphasis on “most.” One reason there likely won’t be peace in our time is that Trump still has not gotten over Kelly’s questioning of him during the opening Republican...

Trump is a faux conservative. Trump is a faux Republican. Trump is taking on FoxNews because he’s really a liberal Democrat, who is anti life and anti property and a massive arrogant narcissist. He’s just like all Democrats who hate FoxNews and bash it daily. Roger Ailes is a Ronald Reagan movement conservative. Trump is not. FoxNews is the only mainstream news organization that doesn’t follow the lead of The New York Times. Trump’s war on FoxNews makes me distrust him even more.

Anyone who is viewing the battle between Donald Trump and Fox News as a representative battle of thin-skinned ego is entirely missing the point.

Trump is not just taking on the construct of progressive ideology that has undermined the essence of American exceptionalism; Trump is not just exposing the immense number of faux-conservatives in media and political punditry; Trump is not just allowing us to see the scope of anti-American interest; no, he’s taking on the very selfish foundation they’ve used to sell out our country. Heck, he’s taking on all the “Decepticons†simultaneously.

The Fox News Channel’s top executive, Roger Ailes, is “furious” at the National Review’s editor Rich Lowry for using foul language in an attack on GOP frontrunner billionaire Donald Trump on Wednesday evening, Breitbart News has learned. An individual with knowledge of these matters told Breitbart News that Ailes is “furious” at Lowry for saying on Megyn Kelly’s program The Kelly File on Wednesday that former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina “cut [Trump’s] balls off with the precision of a surgeon, and he knows it, he knows it.” Ailes is mad at Lowry because this move means, in the ongoing...

Trump wins again. “Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes and Donald Trump spoke this morning and plan to have a meeting next week to discuss their differences of opinion regarding Fox’s coverage of Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign. Ailes will be joined by senior Fox editorial executives. Mr. Trump believes he has been treated unfairly in certain instances. FOX News has held every candidate in this race to the highest journalistic standards throughout our coverage. We believe a candid meeting about our differences is required and that any misunderstandings can be handled without compromising those standards” The assumption on Twitter...

Donald Trump Is a Yuuuuuuuge Wuss by Charles C. W. Cooke. September 24, 2015. How quickly was the great hard man reduced to sterile indignation. Last night, on Fox News, Rich Lowry proposed caustically that Carly Fiorina had, let’s say, “neutered” Donald Trump during the most recent primary debate, and that she had done so with all the precision of a surgeon. In an instant, the whining began. “Incompetent @RichLowry lost it tonight on @FoxNews,” Trump griped on Twitter. “He should not be allowed on TV and the FCC should fine him!” A few moments later, the lip wobbled out...

Only a day after Donald Trump announced that he was boycotting Fox News— and after Fox News announced they had cancelled him first– the network has announced that they will enter talks with Trump to discuss his concerns. Below is the full statement, provided to Mediaite by a Fox News spokesperson: Fox News Chairman & CEO Roger Ailes and Donald Trump spoke this morning and plan to have a meeting next week to discuss their differences of opinion regarding Fox’s coverage of Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign. Ailes will be joined by senior Fox editorial executives. Mr. Trump believes he has...

Colin CampbellSeptember 25, 2015 Real-estate magnate Donald Trump fired off multiple furious tweets Wednesday night after a crude remark was used against him on Fox News. Rich Lowry, the editor of the conservative magazine National Review, declared that the Republican presidential front-runner is attacking rival Carly Fiorina because she emasculated him at last week's presidential debate. "Part of what's going on here is that last debate. Let's be honest: Carly cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon and he knows it," Lowry said during a Fox News interview, according to video posted by Mediaite. Host Megyn Kelly...

Fox News tears are so delicious. After Donald Trump earlier announced he is dumping Fox News and not doing any more interviews on the Jeb Bush network, Fox News went to a left-wing site called Mediaite to whine about Trump. This is Fox News’ whiny statement:

Most Republicans feel betrayed by their party -- and show their displeasure by supporting outsiders over establishment candidates in the GOP presidential race. Real-estate mogul Donald Trump and retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson are favorites in the Republican race in the latest Fox News national poll on the 2016 election. Neither has held elected office before and yet the two of them -- together with businesswoman Carly Fiorina -- capture the support of more than half of GOP primary voters. On the Democratic side, support for Vice President Joe Biden -- who is still considering a run -- has almost doubled...

This just arrived in my inbox from a Fox News spokesperson in reply to the earlier Trump/Fox post this afternoon. As the poet Aretha Franklin famously said: Who’s zoomin’ who? “At 11:45am today, we canceled Donald Trump’s scheduled appearance on The O’Reilly Factor on Thursday, which resulted in Mr. Trump’s subsequent tweet about his ‘boycott’ of FOX News. The press predictably jumped to cover his tweet, creating yet another distraction from any real issues that Mr. Trump might be questioned about. When coverage doesn’t go his way, he engages in personal attacks on our anchors and hosts, which has...

Colin CampbellSeptember 23, 2015 Real-estate tycoon Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that he will no longer do interviews on Fox News shows because the network has been treating him "unfairly." ".@FoxNews has been treating me very unfairly & I have therefore decided that I won't be doing any more Fox shows for the foreseeable future," the Republican presidential front-runner wrote on Twitter. It wasn't immediately clear what caused Trump to announce the boycott, but he has repeatedly feuded with the network in recent days and weeks. On Monday night and Tuesday morning, Trump released a lengthy tweetstorm attacking hosts Bill...
